I agree about the four year degree, which is why I topped my education at UCDavis with an MBA scholarship at Northwestern. Where did you get your MBA?

Fox is also a corporate-owned TV network. TV networks by their nature can't report honestly, because they need viewers. How many people are going to watch a network whose news anchor says things like, "In other news today, there was still no climate change problem to worry about"?

    Ok, let's do it.
Provide the causation data. Put me in my place. Out my ignorance.

Should I sit down for this ? Is it going to take a while ?

Sorry, you lost this one many posts ago when you blathered on about 'causation data,' yet provided no links to support your contentions.

If you think I am going to waste my time demonstrating what everyone already knows, you are sadly mistaken Mr. Paper Towel from Walmart University. If you actually watched reputable news you would know that the last six months has been the most outrageous climate change in America on record. You need to learn to research before you post, which is why I don't lose discussions.

I enjoy people who don't give up when they lost the argument many posts ago, it bumps my threads and keeps my thoughts at the top of the new posts.

giggles. I made no contentions. I simply asked for some data.
Is your little Joey_Sac is having reading comprehension difficulty ?

    So this has happened before.
    So this has happened before.
All of these are things that have happened in the recorded past. None of this is new. How can it be caused by greenhouse gasses if it happened before we pumped the gas into the air?

Poor little Joey_Sac, is it the big word "causation" that you have difficulty with ?
Please provide me with the "statements" you speak of.

Oh yeah, if your not too busy trying to stroke yourself, could you please provide the data that establishes causation between man made CO2 and global warming, or will you simply flap your gums like a pre-pubescent boy ?

You continue your trite line, "poor little Joey Sac." and now you dump it all into name calling as "pre-pubescent boy." It is enjoyable to watch ignorant persons like you fail. Apparently, failing something you know a lot about, right Mr. Walmart? Keep embarrassing yourself, we all enjoy you.

If you couldn't produce the data, why didn't you just say so ?

It is fun watching you pound your chest like a little boy however.
It would be really neat if you could back it up with a little data.

Tell me again about your MBA. It's so impressive. I think I'm getting aroused.

Other than the tornados (which may or may not be climate related) global climate change has been working to my benefit this year. We are getting rain we do not normally get and my pasture is growing.

The grass seed I planted last week is coming up and most other things are growing pretty well...But It is very hot and humid.

My tomatoes are in bad shape though...probably my fault. I tried something new this year. The only ones doing well are the better bush.

Thank you both for the lead in. Internet message boards are home place of morons. In my work and my recreation, I monitor the stupidity of the general population. I am in advertising, and as my college professor said, "No one ever lost a dime underestimating the intelligence of the American people." I am continually amazed at this.

We can charge you $1.75 for 16 ounces of sugar water that cost a quarter to bottle. And, then what you get is not good for your health. I used to take up for the ignorant, I was a consumerist, now I say (*)(*)(*)(*) them, they get what they deserve, which is very little. Americans are too stupid to write their Congressperson for change, instead they waste their time posting here with other morons.

American voters are about to lose their Medicare, (their Social Security was lost by politicians years ago). Public workers are losing their collective bargaining rights, retirement and health care. Our reason for going to war in Afghanistan has disappeared, yet we are going to continue to spend three billion dollars a week for the next year as our economy continues to tank.

I am literally laughing all the way to the bank! Nikita Khrushchev was correct, there was no need to attack America, we are so stupid we are destroying ourselves. At least I have a seat in first class.

Thanks. Will be a VERY interesting read.

I wish I could do what you do, but I am sure that if I don't have a car as a male, I would be laughed at at the end of every party, especially by the girl who thought would go out with me. These are the kind of reasons why only very few people can do what you do, even if they want to, on an individual level.

Isn't the carbon tax a horrible idea when the world economy is already so rigged that working people can't pay their debths and going bankrupt by the masses?

I love these. I wish that basic resarch that these require to start could exist in democratic capitalistic countries. We are not good at subsidizing non-for-profit research in a voter contolled capitalistic environment.

I hope these will generate jobs, if they ever get funding. By the way I would like to pay special (financial) attention to technologies that can create precipitation in desert environments.

Your list are VERY interesting ideas, would even beat the job creational potential of wars in the classical economic sense.

He asked for the data to support YOUR contentions.
LOL!! False and unsupported claims are not things "everyone already knows."
"Watched reputable news"?? ROTFL! How about something a little more credible than your own personal taste in infotainment? How about some DATA to support your claim of "most outrageous climate change in America on record"? I kinda thought "the year without a summer," 1816, was probably the most outrageous climate change in America on record.
Now that's funny. You HAVE lost, dumpling. You just don't know it.

lols - I still have a car - I just don't use it all the time. If I go out at night I do - its just a lot easier - but I don't use it everyday for going to work, only if I am planning on varying my journey home. I use less than half the petrol I would otherwise.

depends how it is introduced, but if people thought about the choices they make it wouldn't even be necessary.

entrepreneurs are missing opportunities. China won't

    probably generate jobs in china.

cloud seeding has not been shown to work in desert areas (and its effectiveness is considered to be minimal in any case) - what else is there? you would have to make these regions more consucive to attracting rainfall

lols. and worthwhile jobs that people could feel they were doing something of value as well.

you could have a look at what is happening in Finland. You might find it quite interesting

"Scientific research confirms that, so far, humankind has raised the Earth's temperature, and the aforementioned events are a sign of what is to come. "

Well we know that quote is a lie.

Actually the burden of proof is on the OP to pull up scientific proof that the raise in temperature was caused by CO2 and not by natural processes, since they are the original source of the claim.

if Co2 were driving the warming then the Co2 would go up followed by the temperature and a drop in Co2 would precede any drop in temperature. Clearly that is not the case since the temperature starts dropping while the Co2 is rising. Temperature leads co2 on the way up also
