Yeah right. You'd suddenly turn from a complacent sheep to Mr. T? I highly doubt that.

It IS straightforward. The only people who can't understand it are those who either don't like what it says or rode the short bus.

I think it all comes down to how one interprets what they read which i'm sure you'll agree, many people can interpret it many ways.

You've said this several times. What I'm missing is a reason to care.
You're not gonna like it under the communism you're shilling for either - unless of course you escape victim status by positioning yourself as one of the victimizers, but of course such a position has its own drawbacks.

I feel like I have been mugged by my state when having to pay 500 dollars for I and my wife to get our concealed carry licenses.

Tell me, is this statement debatable? Every human must consume water to survive.

The right of the people(you and I, citizens) to keep(ownership) and bear(carry) arms, shall not be infringed.

I love the way your team ignores the first clause of the Second Amendment and then claims it's unambiguous.

Again, you are very mistaken, Montoya.

Especially when you say, "if your (sic) a fundamentalist then you are stuck way in the past and probably should not be in government."

The Tea Party Patriots are doing a great service for America. People are starting to realize the problem with the economy is not we are not taxed enough. The problem is we spend too much!

Do “taxed enough already,” “stop spending,” and “obey the Constitution” sound that crazy to you? If so, you might want to think about why you think so.

    Check this out.

The problem is that we foolishly cut taxes but not spending, Bush lied us into an unfunded very expensive war and Republican policies cause the Great Republican Recession.

Cutting taxes contributed greatly to the present budget imbalance. The Bush Tax Cuts need to be terminated, yesterday.

    Stop cutting taxes.

    It is obeyed, bro.

It should be raised to $500,000.00, so that only rich people like me will have guns.

Middle class people like you have little worth protecting anyway. As we rich folk continue to crush you, you'll have even less.

I don't think water vs. weapons is a good analogy; we need water to survive, but not weapons.

Correct; but if the government bans handguns but permits you to carry a rifle or shotgun, then the litmus test has been met and they will not have infringed on your rights to bear arms. Other people may read into it as saying you should be able to bear whatever type of arms you deem necessary; ie; handguns, automatic rifles, cannons, etc.

The Second Amendment was meant to guarantee the right of rich people to have guns.

Yes they sound like nothing more than soundbites, fear mongering, and paranoia. And its a undeniable fact we are taxed the lowest in American history. Your teabag idols have a warped sense of reality.

I am going to take this as sarcasm...But if you indeed are rich and think the way you say then you do not deserve anything the US has to offer.

Yet ANOTHER Leftist Lie! :puke: In “the beginning” when everyone followed the Constitution there was no income tax, and all revenue to the federal government was through tariff taxation. As you can clearly see from the graph below the amount of taxation was only on goods purchased, and not on income. If you did not spend money to buy things you were not taxed. Of course "back then” people followed the Constitution, and tax money was only needed for constitutional activities. Now with the Democrat Quiet Coup of 1937 much more money is needed to fund Democrat violations of the Constitution for wealth distribution and social engineering schemes. NOW 15.3% of most people's incomes is eaten up in Social Security taxes, and THEN they start paying their income tax on top of 15.3% Stop lying in public!

Why can't Leftist tell the truth? :puke:

Nice historical perspective. Not to mention our currency at that time was backed by the Gold Standard.

Because he IS a Leftist. 'Nuff said.

Back currency with gold in this day and age is beyond absurd. Why limit yourself to the amount of metal you have? Its probably one of the most ridiculous idea in modern day America.

It is only an absurd idea if the goal is the steal the labor of the American worker which is stored in dollars through inflationary increases in fiat currency. There is, of course, no limitations placed upon the economy by the use of the gold standard. There is a limitation imposed on government but not on the private sector and the economy belongs to the People and not the government.

Neatly cut cropped and pasted from wikipedia. You of course left out the the rest of the scale that shows Montoya to be absolutely correct. At the bottom of your source graphic, tariffs are but 1.3%. Federal income tax rates for the wealthiest are waaay down to 35% in 2010 and were much higher during the periods of teh country's greatest strength.
