Correct; but if the government bans handguns but permits you to carry a rifle or shotgun, then the litmus test has been met and they will not have infringed on your rights to bear arms. Other people may read into it as saying you should be able to bear whatever type of arms you deem necessary; ie; handguns, automatic rifles, cannons, etc.

Yet ANOTHER Leftist Lie! In “the beginning” when everyone followed the Constitution there was no income tax, and all revenue to the federal government was through tariff taxation. As you can clearly see from the graph below the amount of taxation was only on goods purchased, and not on income. If you did not spend money to buy things you were not taxed. Of course "back then” people followed the Constitution, and tax money was only needed for constitutional activities. Now with the Democrat Quiet Coup of 1937 much more money is needed to fund Democrat violations of the Constitution for wealth distribution and social engineering schemes. NOW 15.3% of most people's incomes is eaten up in Social Security taxes, and THEN they start paying their income tax on top of 15.3% Stop lying in public!

There is, of course, no limitations placed upon the economy by the use of the gold standard. There is a limitation imposed on government but not on the private sector and the economy belongs to the People and not the government.
