I'm sorry, folks, but if this lady doesn't have a chance at winning when she finally runs for President, then I'll eat my hat. You can't buy support like this, and she truly is the real deal. I helped to vote her into political office, so I know this!

..............and she doesn't even endorse the site.

Are you her new campaign manager, because she certainly need one. Her existing one seems to only be advising her how to empty the wallets of Republicans which is a good idea to make her rich while at the same time fooling the gullible into believing she has the ability to be 'The Leader of the Free World' as many Americans believe their President's to be.

Sorry. 3000 votes won't beat Obama.

Well, at least she finally announced her bid for the Presidency a few days ago... wait...what's that you say? She DIDN'T announce her candidacy like all the Palin supporters were hoping? She just rambled on about a nonspecific plan after threatening to quit the event if O'Donnell was invited too? For real?

    ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!

How dumb do you have to be to be a Sarah Palin supporter at this stage?

The woman has serious appeal for sure. She is not a statist. She is not part of the status quo. She is not party of the elite group that has run this country into the ground. The establishment would go sideways if she were to come into the elections and that is a good thing in today's America.

I would support her over virtually all of the establishment GOP field in the race.
    • Ron Paul
    • Sarah Palin

Those would be my top two... in order.

Note: Thanks to Moderator Makedde for doing his job right. It makes for a far better tone and exchange of ideas. Rep given!

Well.. I kinda hate to break it to you, but she doesn't.

Sarah Palin is a great speaker, a great person, and a great book-writer, but she CANNOT beat Obama in 2012. I don't care how many speeches she makes or how many debates she wins, there is a general feeling among the American population that she simply cannot beat him.

    Polls..

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/03/18/obama-would-crush-sarah-p_n_176392.html

    Now, as for Romney..
    http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/abc-news-poll-romney-pulls-obama-head-head/story?id=13776546

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/04/21/mitt-romney-obama-poll_n_851932.html

The huff post claims that Romney has almost drawn even with Obama. Which means that he is basically in the lead.

The polls only matter if you don't have money... she is fine there. As the contenders drop out her numbers will rise should she choose to join the race.

    I know at least ONE person who'd benefit from a Palin Presidency;

That'd be 4-8 years worth of material for her.

That is EXACTLY the ticket needed to cure the infectious rot taken ahold of our Government.

The word we are hearing is that she will announce she will run on Constitution Day, Sept 16th.

... establishment GOPers don't want her that is for sure... but if push comes to shove and it is her or Barack Obama... she wins big with them.

I am not an establishment GOP kinda guy, but I don't want her running. If anything, I would think that establishment guys want her taking votes from Paul and Bachman.

I would be surprised if Obama even got 3,000 votes next year with the way he's handled his first term. Even his own fanclub doesn't like him anymore.

Palin has a loyal following, but outside of those "fans" she does not have the credentials to run. And I use the worlds "fans" because she is a celebrity, not a politician at this point. And you should only vote for her if you want a president for 2 years that then quits to milk the money on the speaking circuit.

This is who wrote Palin's books: http://www.thedailybeast.com/newsweek/2011/04/17/palin-s-ghost.html She doesn't write her own speeches either, so what is it about this vacuous shell of a faux-politician that people find so appealing? She may well be a 'great person' but personal attributes don't, by themselves, translate into great statesmanship-and that's what being POTUS demands.

Right now America seems to have a dearth of anyone even remotely resembling a capable leader-irrespective of their politics-let alone worthy of a vote.

Because American politics and economic policy drive the world. That's why I care. The recession we're enjoying began on Wall Street, so you bet I care.
