Since she is an American and you're not you have nothing to worry about in either case.

Floundering. The President doesn't set gas prices. Of course, he would like to personally set both prices and wages but so far he can't. He can restrict drilling. He can threaten to bankrupt energy companies. He can regulate industries out of existence. In your fantasy world do any of those things have any influence on price at the pump?

I realize absolutely nothing is President Obama's fault. Lordy no. It's President Bush's fault, Congress's fault, the American people's fault, the Tea Party's fault, the rich folk's fault, the CEOs' fault, and don't forget the ever popular scapegoats the Jews. But nothing is, or ever will be, President Obama's fault.

People still have their jobs, don't they, in your fantasy world? And they still have their health insurance that they liked as President Obama promised. Of course, he has given them a greatly expanded food stamp program and never-ending unemployment benefits so they don't have to look for any jobs that aren't there.

Yes, indeed, things are great. Let's borrow more money and GO SHOPPING.

We are steering clear of the subject of the thread. Is Palin right about the union bosses like Hoffa?

Obama can also have his flunky at the Fed flood the world with cheap dollars which causes investors to seek safer places to put their money.

Places like oil which has real value.

But that drives up the price of gasoline to consumers which something Obama is hoping to see happen.

Sadly that isn't true. Trust me, when Bush involved Britain in his futile and horrifically costly wars we had plenty to worry about.
Likewise with America's disastrous economic policies which created the global recession we're all now enjoying.
Believe me, we keep a very close watch on what you're doing, and with good reason! What is it they say? 'America sneezes and the world catches cold'.

If you don't like my comments which have as much right to be here as yours, use the 'Ignore button.' Many Americans know where to find it.

The Euro's have done very little to help themselves over the last generation.

They may not be fat but you sure are lazy and dependent on the government to wipe your nose for you.

Spain, Greece, Italy, Ireland and England itself promised their people more than they could deliver without taking financial risks of their own and overspending just as the bleeding heart libs in this country did.

And I include Bush in that group of rascals.

It's good to know that when the next Republican President enters the White House in 2025, Republicans won't use the same blame game.

Well now Mr. Economist, if you can tell me how your hopelessly inadequate economic policy didn't affect the world I'll be delighted to hear your views on the subject.
As for the war in Iraq, who started that one?
As for being 'losers' America is soon to discover what losing feels like as China muscles in as the world's most powerful economy...
Don't think much, do you? But, hey, carry on whining.

Again people, this thread is not about Bush and the past, it is about Palin vs the Union bosses currently, namely James Hoffa. Please stay on topic. The union bosses declared war on the Tea Party and Gov. Palin is trying to drive a wedge between the bosses and members and she is using cold hard facts to do so. It’s a good strategy.

Palin wouldn't know a fact if it bit her on the arse and introduced itself. She reads what someone writes for her-someone else's 'facts'.

I believe she knows what she is talking about. She is married to a union member and she dealt with union bosses as governor.

Other than making inflammatory speeches what are the union thugs going to do?

They might growl and frighten a wimp like Obama but they won't scare the Tea Party.

But three cheers for Palin for standing up to them.

I laugh at your mixture of bravado and ignorance. You haven't taught me anything.

This guy wrote Palin's acceptance speech back in 2008.
Try again, pal. He was assigned by McCain to do the writing and there is absolutely nothing to indicate he "tells Palin what to say". What a loser.

Calling Hoffa thug is no more an insult that calling my dog a hairy little son-of-a-(*)(*)(*)(*)(*). He is a thug and proud of it. He and Trumka are competing for the Socialist Thug-of-the-year Award. Trumka has the edge but Hoffa is, obviously, working hard to come up on the inside.

I feel sorry for people who live in a country that's so boring and inconsequential that they have to come around here and talk about ours instead.
