Right-wingers have been promoting violence against anyone they hate for years, and they are always prattling on about applying second amendment solutions to "take their country back" from the hated liberals. There isn't an ounce of respect left in me for liberals/progressives and their radicalized and hateful political shift they have taken. Just their decades long minority vote harvesting, plantation like exploitation is sickening enough...but now they scream and threaten their deconstructive ideologies for the world to see their true colors, and unabashedly at that. They are the pariah of westernized culture, and no longer the "well intentioned liberal friends" President Reagan mentioned.
Most of today's Democrats are not classic Liberals. They have become Nanny State Socialists/Progressives instead. There is a difference. Time to update the labels.

There is a whack a mole style socialist, socialism, social justice, democratic socialism, socialist democracy, Marxist (stage before communism socialism and probably a host of others) that never quite gets pegged down. I have no need to play that tiring game. As I said..Liberals/Progressives are the pariah of western culture. Knock yourself out and update your lables as you see fit. Classic liberals, the real ones, are probably somewhat ashamed I'd guess...but not too many of them are around any longer.

Clearly this sort of rhetoric is absurd and disgusting. That being said, don't act like this sort of talk is limited to the democrats. Just wander the forums here and see how some of the extreme right wingers talk about democrats. It's disqusting no matter who it comes from, and it comes from both sides.
While this kind of talk isn't limited to Democrats, the hypocricy surrounding it, is. Not all that long ago Barack Obama made a point of decrying hateful political speech. He did this at a time when the supposed hateful speech had been coming from the right. More recently, Jimmy Hoffa Jr., made an extremely hateful comment directed toward Republicans while he was warming up the crowd for a speech by Barack Obama. Instead of saying such violent rhetoric was wrong, Barack Obama ignored the comments and gave his speech and more recently, when the Whitehouse press spokesman was asked about it, he said, the Whitehouse will NOT monitor Democrat campaign speech. Couple this with comments made by Joe Biden and you have a perfect storm of Democrat hypocricy.
