That's because I grew up in a literal slum. I worked jobs with poor people all through my 20's and now I'm in my 30's I work jobs involving the rich.

The urban mindset of the poor is juvenile, entitled and comes with an automatic chip on their shoulder against mythical beings that supposedly hold them back when really it is their own ignorance and dependent natures.

I'm not talking about the poor single mom who slaves for 40 hours a week waitressing to take care of her kids.

I'm talking about the poeple who outnumber her 3 to 1 who have a "(*)(*)(*)(*) it" attitude and a chip on their shoulder against the greatest, most pluralistic and diverse society on the entire planet.

I was raised to beleive that such negative attitudes, maintaining a grudge against "the rich" or "the government" or "the system" is the sign of an inferior personality and an inferior intellect and mind.

To get a "good job" requires extraordinary talent and skill these days. Those who lack it are not going to get a "good job" there are 6 billion people on this planet, 4 billion of which say they want a job, and only 1 and 1/2 billion jobs available on the whole planet and a 10k a year salary puts you in the top 13% of the world's richest people.

When you look at it from a global perspective, Americans have NOTHING to complain about.. nothing at all.

I mean really, what Arrogance do American liberals have to think that they are so much better than some Chinaman or African or SW Asian that they deserve 2-4 times the pay that they are getting? Are they somehow more productive? Do they put in longer hours? What is it about an American worker that makes him so (*)(*)(*)(*)ing special compared to the immigrant or outsource laborer that he deserves a higher rate of pay than they do?

Thank you. Once again, when someone says globalization is why the American economy is going downhill, you say rubbish. Then proceed to post ones like these saying how globalism is inevitable and we all need to get use to our standard of living going to (*)(*)(*)(*). When someone is so willing to lie, why would anyone believe anything else that comes from said person? And last but not least, globalism isn't inevitable. It is a choice by the regime that has been in power for decades, behind the dog and pony show of the republican and democrat parties. Regime change can always happen, is what needs to happen, and eventually will happen.

That is sort of the crux of the matter. Regulations, taxation, and grossly inflated salaries aren't the responsibility of the working class. Only an idiot would think they are. They're the responsibility or liberal politicians regardless of party and organized crime in the form of unions.

So, go ahead and blame the victims. That's what liberals do. That's why they make bogus victims they can pretend to feel sorry for.

OMG - you are too funny.
I almost agree with you though.

I would say 90(+)% of Republicans are your enemy!
I would also say 90(+)% of Democrats are your enemy!

Partisanship just keeps us bickering while the politicians keep screwing us.
Democrats aren't running to the Republican Party because they are scared of the current mess we are in. Real Democrats don't do that because they believe in their ideology.

They are however leaving Obama in droves because it's hard to tell the difference between him and a Republican.

    Obama
    - Decreased physical numbers, but expanded conflicts in the Middle East.
    - Followed Bush's reckless and irresponsible spending habits
    - Has not closed Gitmo
    - Criticized Bush for Detainment without due process, then proposes Indefinate Detainment (what's the difference again?)
    - Extended Patriot Act
    - Discriminates against small business to the benefit of big business

What exactly is wrong with you types.Republicans have insisted all along
that in a Recession, expecially a Deep Recession the solution is Lower
Taxes, less Government spending and reduced regulations.
Republicans called for Fixing Medicare, not a dramatic Overhaul of
Health Care.Republicans called for a Balanced Budget amendment because it
was Republicans under the New Leadership of a New Republican Majority in
1994 that acheived TWO balanced budgets and even a Surplus at the end
    of Bucky boy Clinton's term.
Paul Ryan submit a budget plan in writting.Obama and Dems were too lazy to
even debate a budget let alone submit one.
What in the world are you talking about.
Obama called for a Deficit Commission { Simpson-Bowles } and belligerently
    avoided heeding it.
    The Problem is Democrats.
Pure & simple. Not even a debate about that.
    Grow up.

The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer even with the "socialist" policies we have in place. What do you think would happen if we took away the socialist policies? This isn't class warfare. It's reality.

It's called socialism when you spread the wealth so others have the same opportunity to become wealthy.

The rich get rich off the poor and middle class. And the reason for this is because there are a lot more poor and middle class people. Therefore, WE are able to distribute money throughout the economy more quickly and efficiently.

I got one for you. Name one thing the all neocon Washington changed that the all democrat Washington changed back? Democrats have signed as many free trade agreements as republicans. Clinton signed the one with China, and no other has done as much harm. Haven't you noticed those who blindly support either party are quickly becoming the minority? The few who remain arguing for the republicans are most likely at the top of the spectrum, making record gains off globalism. That actually has logic to it. There is no logic anymore to blindly supporting the democrats. I'm not asking you to vote republican. I am asking why you still support democrats?

Not true. There are far plenty of countries were are far less business friendly.

But there are a couple of countries which are more business friendly and basically used as tax havens.

Why were we so productive during the 1920s as opposed to right now when we have greatly surpassed technology during the industrial age?

The FED had just been enacted, and had 100% value of currency to start chipping away at, vs now where the currency is down to the last 3% of its purchasing power, comparatively. Not to mention, protectionism was practiced, at varying degrees, throughout the history of America. Only in the last 30-40 years has "free trade" truly existed.

LOL OSHA? Right I know employers should be free to cut corners on safety in the name of "profits". And employers should not be responsible if an employee is injured at work. You spout the stupidest nonsense do you really think anyone who is not an extremist shares your warped ignorant "opinions"?

So in other words you can't name any policies.

Are you sure that is right? Last time I checked our corporate tax levels were at 35 percent at the federal level and 12 percent at the state. Which is pretty high but there are countries. But there are countries like Japan, Benin, Guyana and Belgium which have the same rates as the US and high.

Sure I suppose we have the highest rates if you combined State and Federal corporate taxes.

Hong Kong has the lowest Capital gains tax with the lowest income tax rate. If I had to choose a country to be more like in terms of taxes, Hong Kong would be it.
