If Congress had acted on the Bush requests for regulation of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac we could have avoided the housing bubble bursting which led to our other problems. But, no, Rep. Frank had to protect his spouse's job and promote housing to those who couldn't or wouldn't pay the mortgage, didn't he.

Problem is Cain loses either way on this story because of his response. Either he's lying and knew about the suits or here we have another CEO who's company was involved in multiple lawsuits, paid out up to tens of thousands of dollars and HE KNEW NOTHING ABOUT IT.

We just got over a CEO on permanent vacation, we don't need another one.

When we hear cases of politicians screwing around on their wives it really doesnt bother me too much. What bothers me is how they lie and use technicalities to try and get around it.

This case really wont matter much, either way Cain has little chance of ever winning the nomination

Now it turns out that he was charged with sexual harrassment by more than one woman and they were paid off in the 5 figure range to shut up. Cain... an Ex- federal banker.. a meticulous manager.. whose very nature of control and attention to detail and political manuevering allowed him to ascend into the top levels of cutthroat banking and Lobbying organizations.. not to mention a successfull business manager. He suddenly gets forgetful about something that could destroy his career... cant recall payouts .. cant recall charges...
