Here's where your logic fails - expecting ANY president to haul us out of the Bush morass in three years.

Let me make it easy for you:

    1) The stimulus has not failed. Ask the CBO rather than Sean Hannity.
    2) Bush put us into the situation of needing the stimulus.

Here is how the CBO and every Liberal Think Tank determined the number of jobs PORKULUS created......

Government Spending X Predetermined Job Growth Rate = Number of Jobs Created

.....which is why all those jobs your constantly teabagging Obama over......exist on paper....and only on paper. Liberalism is a complete fraud and utter lie....wake up!

How many years are you going to give Obama?

There now you can read it nice and slow.

How did Bush put us in a position of needing a stimulus? Last time I checked, a great deal of the debt he accrued in his term was already there and he didn't add much to it, in fact he slowed the rate at which the debt was increasing. Most of the big ticket programs that ran up the debt were in place before he took office. So once again, I ask, how is he responsible? Last time I checked, Obama has run up in three years almost more than Bush did in eight.

Try just these two: the prescription drug bill and $trillions in tax breaks while the deficit already sat at $9,000,000,000,000. And, oh yeah, two invasions that were obviously not thought through.

At almost $250,000 a job, I would hardly call that a success.

As many terms as he wants, as long as he gets over his bi-partisan tendancies.

    Really???

King PrezBO has already gotten more terms than he's qualified for.

As far as the "stimulus" is concerned, the money wasted by DC on their banker and union supporters only delayed the inevitable. The economy WILL get worse, the state has only propped up the key economic indicators to give the illusion of a recovery. The FDIC doesn't have the funds to insure all the depositors currently in banks on the brink of failure, so the government props up the zombie banks. Also if all the houses facing foreclosure were actually foreclosed on, the mortgage lenders would go belly up, so the government buys all the bad debt and sets it squarely on the shoulders of the US taxpayer.

Wasn't it also the CBO that determined that Obamacare would reduce the deficit... until the bill was passed into law?

The stimulus was an $840 billion dollar waste of money. It didn't relieve the 9% unemployment for the longest sustained time since the great depression. Epic Fail of the Obama administration and the Democrats our grand kids will have to pay for

Don' tell it to me, tell it to the CBO.

As you are probably aware, that was way before Obamacare got watered down to the point is had no chance of reducing the deficit.

Obamacare would NEVER have reduced the deficit. There is NOTHING the government does that's cost effective.

    840,000,000,000 ÷ 200,000 (jobs) = $4,200,000

    4.2 million dollars per job.

That is what this stimulus is supposed to have done for us.

Pull your heads out of your asses, people. :disbelief:

It would have been revenue neutral and it would have reduced MY deficit. And, of course, there are many things the government does that are more cost effective than private industry. Have you ever compared the salary of a four-star in the military to salary of a CEO in Blackwater?

    CBO.gov

NEVER may not be the right word, considering he already did.

Obama inherited the worst recession since the great depression. Thankfully unemployment didn't get into the 25% range like it hit then.
