Same reason they couldn't pass a clean debt ceiling increase. Sabotage. Trying to score political points with a specific group of people.

Perhaps Boner had to have a moment off camera so he could cry.

Some times you just can't control emotion.

Censorship at the Dems too. Or have you forget that they did the same thing. They even locked them up of the Obamacare debates.

Ummmm the house bill was voted on and in first.

Stop playing "gotcha" politics and be real.

YOUR dems (i call them "your" because you are a shill) decided to block that vote because that would show that the true leadership is in the repub house.

BTW. This is no "tax cut" this is a tax slide to future home owners from the low income.

The low income dont pay income tax, only payroll tax, google the plans for future home ownership taxes. This is a ploy by dems to tax the "rich" which is now defined by "anyone who owns a home". They want to make a completely dependant and non-responsible voting block on our dime.

After all when has a dem ever cut taxes to better the populace without some sugar for themselves???

Google it yourself, i dont work for you.

Not a bit. The two months was their idea.

I blame the Senate and since the Senate is mostly democrats I blame them more.

LOL I never lied. I said you never once dug the liberals when they banned C-SPAN cameras. You do realize we talk about all events here. Its amazing I know but we actually do discuss events before our join dates. Crazy isn't it?

But go ahead, show one post anywhere where you said excluding C-SPAN cameras by Obama and the liberals from the health care debates was wrong.

Hell do it RIGHT NOW and I'll be happy to apologize.

Time to Man up Dasein :sun:

Only in the Senate and I've already said that.

How is it fair to the American people? How is it fair to business?

I still haven't heard a single rational argument that would extend it for only 2 months rather than a year.

But go ahead, I'd love to hear it.

So you can't give me an argument for 2 months. Got it. Then why do you support the passing of a 2 month extension?

If they give in then they failed.

The Parlimentarians should have escorted Stenny Hoyer out for that stunt. When are these Dems doing the dirty work of their prez, going to stop playing politics with these serious issues?

This is ALL about ZERO leadership from the White House. In fact, the ONLY thing he can lead in is devisive partisan crap! Shame on all of these Dems for playing these games. But regardless of how much help the Dems benefit from their state-run liberal press...I think they underestimate the American people in believing they are unaware of what's really going on. Most Americans KNOW that there was a year-long extension of that tax cut that Obama and the Dems refused in lieu of this short-term, kick the can down the road, 2 month one. Plus, he's about to lose forever the Canada pipeline deal....and I suppose he'll try to blame someone else for that one too!

We have GOT to get this guy OUT of the White House....before he totally brings down our country. And he should take his House and Senate minions with him.

Too late. The taxes go up Jan 1...and unless they come back early, it's not going to happen. But alas....the American people KNOW that just days before this last-minute partisan ploy by Obama and the Dems for a VERY short term2-month extension....they could have signed off on a year long extension of this tax cut. That was Obama and the Democrats who is responsible for that one. This is something Republicans will be reminding the public of continuously over the next few weeks.

American people are not STUPID like Obama and the Dems seem to think. Let's see.....2 month short term, versus 12 month. Hmmmmm......

Obama stated he wanted a year-long extension. So, you're saying he was lying about that?? All he had to do was tell his sidekick Reid to approve it...and sign it; but he refused. He chose to try and score a point to get himself re-elected over doing the right thing. YET again......

But the American people are NOT as stupid as he thinks.

With the exception of his supporters which really can't give a reasonable answer as to why they do. They seem to wait until he gives he's talking points before retaliating.

No Majority of Americans aren't as stupd as the Obama and the Dms seem to think they are (Homer Simpson's). Although they are adamant that their supporters remain so

    IT'S NOT 1 YEAR vs. 2 MONTHS.

It's 1 year (with earmarks such as Keystone Oil Pipeline, unemployment cuts, unemployment drug testing) vs. 2 months.

The senate Republicans would agree to this condition so they could get more time to negotiate an extension after the 2 months.

It's not as though the Democrats actually want it to go away in 2 months, in fact they would make it permanent, but that would never go through John Boner's House.
