At least eighty percent of the articles showing up in the blogosphere are about the Republican candidates. I have not checked, but I suspect the percentage is even higher on television talkies.

Frankly, I don’t give a crap. Only one candidate will get the nomination. I’m not filling my thoughts with talking head babble about the losers —— junk that will be even more useless the minute after a RINO/CINO is nominated. Besides, my mind is made up. I’m just not voting for the media’s candidate because I’m not buying the ‘Anybody But Obama’ argument.

I offer two scenarios for consideration:

    1. The year is 2017; four years after a RINO president was elected —— along with a super-majority in both Houses of Congress. Not one unnecessary federal bureaucracy was shut down. Every necessary bloated bureaucracy grew in size. New federal bureaucracies were created. The EPA grew in influence. The United Nations continued to influence domestic and foreign policy decisions. The Department of Education’s budget tripled. ACORN, Planned Parenthood, PBS, the National Endowment for the Arts, along with countless entities advanced socialism’s agenda with tax dollar funding. It was all okay because a Republican was president.

    2. The year is 2017; four years after Hussein’s second term ends. A Republican super-majority, dominated by true conservatives, in both Houses stopped Hussein in his tracks in everything from executive orders to recess appointments. Not one his nominees was confirmed for any job. Not one bureaucratic regulation was implemented. The debt ceiling was not raised. No stimulus packages or bailouts were authorized. Everything Hussein did in his first term was reversed by legislation, or overturned by the courts.

Now ask yourself which of the two scenarios you want to see becoming reality?

Let me close with my thoughts on the media’s political crapola surrounding this election:

I’m not alone in my opinion of the paid chattering class. Dave Macy, the author of the enclosed article, is Movin’ On, too.

It will be interesting to see how many conservatives will also sit this one out à la Bob Dole, and John McCain, rather than vote for yet another ‘business as usual’ RINO/CINO. No matter which pseudo-conservative gets the nomination he better have a voter magnet on the ticket stronger than was Sarah Palin or he will suffer the landslide defeat that was heading McCain’s way.

I do not have to pay attention to talking heads to know that every one of the wannabes believes not voting for Hussein means voting for the Republican. The thing they all avoid facing is that primary results predict how Republicans only will vote in the general election.

I cannot determine from Macy’s article if he will stay home on election day, do a write-in, or simply not vote for a president. I’m toying with the choices. I’ll make a decision when I know more about the candidates for Congress.

While many pundits are quick to offer their expertise on the various strengths and weaknesses of Republican presidential candidates, the real battle for the presidency is being waged in comment sections of popular conservative websites. And they are often not only funnier than what you can read by some of the “political experts”, but most of the time they are a better predictor of the heart of conservatism in America.

The conservative attacks (justified) on President Obama are reactions to his lack of leadership, socialistic policies, and his disdain for America. An example of the trickery of the Obama administration not being lost on conservatives can be read in the comments here at CFP and some other sites such as Lucianne.com. In the aftermath of the vote on Obamacare, one commenter wrote:

The voters did not support Obamacare, as Obama asserts. Instead, they attempted to prevent its passage by voting for a Republican (Brown) in a special election in Massachusetts (of all places). As the 41st senator, it was hoped that Brown could uphold a Republican filibuster to prevent passage of the law. But the voters’ will was thwarted by the Democrats who refused to seat the new senator until after the vote was taken. Fraud, trickery and intimidation may be the Chicago way to win, but it certainly doesn’t indicate that the gangster-in-chief had the support of the American people in passing his healthcare law.

And this reaction to that covert Halloween party at the White House with Tim Burton and Johnny Depp:

The first rule for leftist elitists is to deny being leftist elitists or that anything leftist elitist has ever taken place. It’s like ‘‘Fight Club’’ only with more yelling and the violence is hidden in the background.

And one more on the chance that Rick Perry might play the role of spoiler in the upcoming South Carolina Primary:

If Romney survives this set up campaign by the elites then goes against Obama who will beat him what will be said? After Dole, McCain then Romney you will hear the words ‘never again will I vote for a RINO’. Will the lesson be learned? Not until a Tea Party is formed and the Republicans can meld with the democrats. When we are a communist country you will have a long time to think about it. I said never again after McCain and I mean it. Perry is the only conservative in this race that can beat Obama.

Of course if you take time to scan the comments on sites that are not monitored for foul language you can find a ton of freedom of speech euphemisms that will cause you to blush!

So forget the talking heads opinions. Most of them are in it for the money and the ratings. I’d rather know what a hard working American conservative has to say than listen to the likes of Dick Morris, Lanny Davis, Donna Brazile, Charles Krauthammer, Fred Barnes, and other professional partisan political hacks!

To botenth: Maybe for establishment Republicans, but not for the rest of us.

Republicans will unite behind the eventual candidate just as Democrats will vote for their guy. The media is trying to sell the notion that conservatives are Republicans because they ain’t Democrats. That’s the con job behind “Republicans must unite behind our candidate in order to beat Obama.” Muslims would have more success claiming “You must be a Muslim because you ain’t a Christian.” That crap does not work in religion and it should not work in politics either.

When you've marginalized yourself, you might as well just go ahead and remove yourself from the margin.
