To whom it may concern: I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to do something I seldom do- renege on a promise. I won't be able to get a job by the end of 2008 due to a recurrence of my old anxiety. I'm also going to take a break from the forum because I'm far from happy with the political direction the country is going, and futile debate raises the stress level that any physician would advise me to lower. I was an excellent post. Excellence deserves a compliment. I frequently compliment a person with whom I am at odds with because their post was well done and well stated. I try and be objective between topic and well said or stated arguement. Yours was well stated. You made a very good point.

All is well with me. I planned on showing up here only when I got a job, which will hopefully be soon, but since you are back, heikstheo, and since I'm officially a registered voter (unaffiliated) now, I think I'm overdue for a comeback.

Well, I'm not actually in school. My father is quite successful working with the state of Oregon, and formal education is far less important than entrance exams in qualifying to work for Oregon (my father dropped out of college without a degree). I'm learning more about word processing and other office skills from my father and I made it my New Years' resolution to have meaningful employment experience by the end of the year. It was my resolution in 2007 to get the GED and I did it, and one way or another I'm going to make good on my 2008 resolution as well. Thank you for your concern.
