‘Press 2 for Spanish,’ Similar Programs Cost Billions, but Trump Could End It

A report from The Washington Times has revealed that billions and billions of dollars have been spent providing language support to non-English speakers. Most of those, ironically enough, speak Spanish — and Trump could redirect that funding with a few signatures from the Oval Office.

With budgets being submitted Trump should consider this, and perhaps put the savings towards the wall.

You understand most illega immigration occurs via legal crossing right? Such as flights and visa overstays? So a wall, besides not even keeping the other 50% out, does nothing to stop the Spanish language from existing in the US.

DHS/ICE annual reports show that the vast majority of visa overstays each year return home within 12 months of the date their overstay started.

It's still an issue that needs to be addressed, but the numbers are not what the left has been filling the gullible with.

So, the left will need to invent a new story. The facts have erased this overstay meme.

If there was any proof to the claim wouldn't you expect that at least 1/2 of those who were apprehended by ICE were visas overstays ?

And in 1986 we were told there was only 1.5 million illegal aliens in the country and then awarded amnesty to 3 million.

No need to get too exercised with the issue of overstays. DHS reports the vast majority of overstays that occur each year return home within 12 months of their original departure date.

It's still a number big enough to be a concern, and DHS reports the Trump Administration has tasked DHS with creating a program that tracks Visa Holders better, so they can be found, arrested, and deported, if they do not leave when their Visa expires.
