If I vote against the incumbent, doesn't that tell you my answer?
Why would I vote out one who I like? Unless the one I like makes a promise to only run for X terms and then goes and runs again after X terms are up. Then I did vote against 1 I actually liked.

I doubt very many actually like the gov't we have, have you seen the congressional approval ratings of the last 20 yrs or so?
But we the people don't do much to change how gov't operates. We just whine a lot.

The donation system we have now, cloaked under PACs, allows those with lots of money to get the best gov't they can buy.
And it works for them. And they can remain anonymous.

I was just asking @Alwayssa what she meant by neo-Nazis that fought desegregation. I simply chose the logical possibility that it might have been the group/party that fought desegregation tooth and nail for over 100 years. But maybe that's not who she meant, I dunno.

So, ya think the 100-year old tiger actually changed its stripes around 1980???

    Can't follow along.

Older males are responsible for a higher rates of birth defects.

Government may need to control what you do with your penis for the good of society. :)

I doubt she's talking about liberals.
From the 1960s through the 1980s.

Rocket science is easy. Remember bottle rockets? Just light it and walk away. Totally unguided... like a bullet. Dumb. MISSILE SCIENCE on the the other hand is VERY complex... it changes its path in flight, adjusting to new targets. VERY COMPLEX.

They, bipartisan majorities, prefer to urinate on the US Constitution.

If a pregnancy is causing real serious harm to the woman -- and this does not include inconvenience other than maybe in the first 3 months or so -- then abortion is a consideration.

    Homophobia?

It's all about controlling women and interfering in their private business. The thought someone might interfere in your business is seemingly beyond your grasp.

Richard B Spencer or Craig Cobb.

Again, when it comes to political parties and history. context is everything. Yes, Democrats fought tooth and nail, but they were the "conservatives" trying to keep the same culture the same without change. Sound familiar? The progressives were the Republican party of Lincoln who pretty much gave voting rights to Blacks, Puerto Ricans, Native Americans, and Women.

But for today, the progressives is now the Democrats and the conservatives are now the Republicans who do not want change

Test your sperm and if it's defective require your sterilization? Why not? You have few concerns about interfering in women's private business.

Women aren't going to put up with government telling them they have to be pregnant and give birth to children.

You're rubbing women's noses into it with your disregard for their rights. Why should they care about your rights?

We're talking about real physical possible, practical and known (other than the precise time a fetus becomes a human .life) things, not far out wild ass maybe possible, maybe not things. That is the stretch.

You lost me there. No government is telling any woman she has to be pregnant.

But you don't care that a fetus ( pregnancy) harms women??? Why are they the only ones you don't care about ?

    "IF" "IF" ?????

YOU may not think the following is serious but HAPPILY YOU are NOT the decider or ruler or the law or the pregnant one:

Normal, frequent or expectable temporary side effects of pregnancy

      • exhaustion (weariness common from first weeks)
      • altered appetite and senses of taste and smell
      • nausea and vomiting (50% of women, first trimester)
      • heartburn and indigestion
      • constipation
      • weight gain
      • dizziness and light-headedness
      • bloating, swelling, fluid retention
      • hemmorhoids
      • abdominal cramps
      • yeast infections
      • congested, bloody nose
      • acne and mild skin disorders
      • skin discoloration (chloasma, face and abdomen)
      • mild to severe backache and strain
      • increased headaches
      • difficulty sleeping, and discomfort while sleeping
      • increased urination and incontinence
      • bleeding gums
      • pica
      • breast pain and discharge
      • swelling of joints, leg cramps, joint paininfection including from serious and potentially fatal disease
(pregnant women are immune suppressed compared with non-pregnant women, and are more susceptible to fungal and certain other diseases)
      • extreme pain on delivery
      • hormonal mood changes, including normal post-partum depression
      • continued post-partum exhaustion and recovery period (exacerbated if a c-section -- major surgery -- is required, sometimes taking up to a full year to fully recover)
Normal, expectable, or frequent PERMANENT side effects of pregnancy:

      • stretch marks (worse in younger women)
      • loose skin
      • permanent weight gain or redistribution
      • abdominal and vaginal muscle weakness
      • pelvic floor disorder (occurring in as many as 35% of middle-aged former child-bearers and 50% of elderly former child-bearers, associated with urinary and rectal incontinence, discomfort and reduced quality of life -- aka prolapsed utuerus, the malady sometimes badly fixed by the transvaginal mesh)
      • changes to breasts
      • increased foot size
      • varicose veins
      • scarring from episiotomy or c-section
      • other permanent aesthetic changes to the body (all of these are downplayed by women, because the culture values youth and beauty)
      • increased proclivity for hemmorhoids
      • loss of dental and bone calcium (cavities and osteoporosis)
      • higher lifetime risk of developing Altzheimer's
      • newer research indicates microchimeric cells, other bi-directional exchanges of DNA, chromosomes, and other bodily material between fetus and mother (including with "unrelated" gestational surrogates)
    Occasional complications and side effects:

      • complications of episiotomy
      • hyperemesis gravidarum
      • temporary and permanent injury to back
      • severe scarring requiring later surgery
        (especially after additional pregnancies)
      • dropped (prolapsed) uterus (especially after additional pregnancies, and other pelvic floor weaknesses -- 11% of women, including cystocele, rectocele, and enterocele)
      • pre-eclampsia (edema and hypertension, the most common complication of pregnancy, associated with eclampsia, and affecting 7 - 10% of pregnancies)
      • eclampsia (convulsions, coma during pregnancy or labor, high risk of death)
      • gestational diabetes
      • placenta previa
      • anemia (which can be life-threatening)
      • thrombocytopenic purpura
      • severe cramping
      • embolism (blood clots)
      • medical disability requiring full bed rest (frequently ordered during part of many pregnancies varying from days to months for health of either mother or baby)
      • diastasis recti, also torn abdominal muscles
      • mitral valve stenosis (most common cardiac complication)
      • serious infection and disease (e.g. increased risk of tuberculosis)
      • hormonal imbalance
      • ectopic pregnancy (risk of death)
      • broken bones (ribcage, "tail bone")
      • hemorrhage and
      • numerous other complications of delivery
      • refractory gastroesophageal reflux disease
      • aggravation of pre-pregnancy diseases and conditions (e.g. epilepsy is present in .5% of pregnant women, and the pregnancy alters drug metabolism and treatment prospects all the while it increases the number and frequency of seizures)
      • severe post-partum depression and psychosis
      • research now indicates a possible link between ovarian cancer and female fertility treatments, including "egg harvesting" from infertile women and donors
      • research also now indicates correlations between lower breast cancer survival rates and proximity in time to onset of cancer of last pregnancy
      • research also indicates a correlation between having six or more pregnancies and a risk of coronary and cardiovascular disease
    Less common (but serious) complications:

      • peripartum cardiomyopathy
      • cardiopulmonary arrest
      • magnesium toxicity
      • severe hypoxemia/acidosis
      • massive embolism
      • increased intracranial pressure, brainstem infarction
      • molar pregnancy, gestational trophoblastic disease
        (like a pregnancy-induced cancer)
      • malignant arrhythmia
      • circulatory collapse
      • placental abruption
      • obstetric fistula
    More permanent side effects:

      • future infertility
      • permanent disability
      • death."""""""""""""""""""

    Very true.

You don't take women's rights seriously. You will when women derail your party because it won't respect them.

If they make abortion illegal, they are.
