...always good for a laugh though....
Then they can't be 'really boring'.
lol... the only way you can make the US look good at the moment, is comparing it of Europe WWI + WWII.
We both know Europe aint no war zone anymore. Hence the US is just where people get shot all the time.
Pretty high on the world ranking as well.
Interesting how someone on this side of the Atlantic knows more about European history, past and present, than many Europeans do. Are you aware that until 1989 East and West Europe were divided but, thanks to the Americans, that's all nostalgia now.
This will bring you up to date on the killings going on in Europe, and they haven't even included Islamist terrorism.
As do Christians? For my sins . . . no, wrong metaphor because I don't sin . . . owing to some strange perversity I habitually listen to the BBC radio prog 'Sunday Worship', and I've lost count of the times I've heard 'And Jesus said' stories which don't appear anywhere in the Good Book. I'm sure they make 'em up as they go along, to while away the time unto the Collection plate being passed around?
Just came back from watching Peter Jackson's documentary They Shall Not Grow Old.
It left me shaken - and I watch some war thing on Youtube nearly every day.
People hate the idea of empire and religion, but under the Roman Empire and the
rule of Roman Catholicism in Europe things were relatively peaceful.
I'd like to know as much as you about this period and have only touched the surface. That's interesting to know and I'll investigate further, thanks.
yeah usually...you know mostly the usual derivative stuff...there's a few peaches in there though
Yeah, its quite interesting how the "church" took over the administrative reins as it were following the collapse of centralised authority - being that Latin was the common language and the church had a structure (much like the cursus honorum) which touched all levels and stratas of society. Have you read about Clovis? Interesting fella...
He is considered by many as the first french king. Louis which was the most common name for a french king come from Clovis.
CLOVIS => LOVIS => LOUIS
Which give in germanic language => Ludwige, Lois, Lewis.
Don't go pretend that you know me, what I do and where I live.
Because you do not.
Yeah well... all far outside the EU. You might as well compare them numbers of US and Mexico combined if you go like that.
You know how dreadfully awful it all will look like that. Add to all them people the US massacred in the last 100 years as well.
Pardon me. I assumed that because you spoke of Europe you were familiar with it.
Far outside Europe? You're just confirming your lack of knowledge of the continent.
Yes, we could combine Mexico, the US and Canada and it still wouldn't compare with Europe's history.
these Christians killed a few more French than did those Muslims:
Really? Are you saying the Pope was responsible for murdering Christians?
It's amazing how often Leftists will bring up this 'Hitler was a Christian' nonsense! All you do is read what Hitler and his insiders actually wrote. He felt religion was for weaklings but, like many other politicians, felt it made for good propaganda.
@Mr_Truth They're all dead now, and what threaten the most a kindergarden today is not the nazis but islamic terrorists.
if you Republicans hadn't financed him, there would have been no Hitler
right wing terrorism in France:
If we could put some "if" in our car, the problem of the futur lack of oil would have been solved a century ago.
Ok, so we are comparing hundred of death with a failed plot ? Interesting. Far right terrorism is not even at 10 % the level of islamic terrorist. I already reacted to that and explained why they are a bunch of traitors.
Where do they teach this stuff??
Separate names with a comma.
