On average 1 sexual predators a day with a badge gets kicked out of the police force at a minimum in the US. While some police stations are happy to have a rapids in their mids. After all that rather racist police brutality these last months,... how low can the respect for cops go?

1,000 officers in a six-year period amounts to half a sexual preditor a day, not one predator. You have difficulties with basic math too. LOL :D

Cops never lose their badges here in Kazakhstan though. Do you think they are all saints or all eunuchs or they are not investigated or investigators get their "fair share"? Anyway, we trust them blindly because they never lose their badges

We haven't had that problem so much with the police. Our local sheriff's office that also oversees the jails has had periodic issues with this.

so out of 1,100,000 local law enforcement personnel... you think less than 0.1% doing something wrong annually, means the other 99.9% are horrible awful people?

wow... you really are one of "those" people aren't you...

if one person does something, everyone else is just like them?

you must really hate, men, women, children, young people, old people, white people, black people, hispanic people, christians, jews... well you just hate everyone then?

P.S. although to be fair you said that was a 6 year period, I used a one year period, so divide my number by 6... and you get .016% and the other 99.984% don't...

this is an under count and does not even begin to include all deviations from the law by cops

I'm impressed that they actually do get kicked out for misbehaving. Seems like a good thing to me. Gotta figure the job of cop would be attractive to lots of insecure people with power issues so I would expect this kind of thing to happen. Don't know about the "possession of child porn" charge though. Seems like that's what they usually charge somebody with when they don't find anything real. Downloading some "barely legal" but not really stuff without even paying isn't really the same as sodomizing somebody with a mag light.

Take into the account that the California and New York are not included / the remark that this is a total under count according to the OP.

    Absolute lie.

Cops know how to type coherent sentences.

As much as you hate cops, I'll bet that fact hurts.

For the occasional bad one? Or the hundreds of thousands of good ones?

I suppose that should be contrasted with all of the professions where people in them don't do anything bad.

Can someone tell me what professions those are?

When an institution messes up constantly, than there is something wrong with that institution.
If a plane of say British Airways fell from the sky 5 times a year,.. than the company would be closed down.

To be totally fair. This is just about the people who got recorded to be fired over this specific thing. California and New York doesn't even know how often it happens because they don't keep track of this specific thing. While it also does not include the cops who are still cops even though they got busted over this. And of course the cops who didn't got busted aren't in it.

According to the OP,.. not always.
So some cops get busted with sexual assaulting or maybe even raping people, but still get away with it.

Right, in other words it wasn't an innocent math error, you lied, deliberately took a random number out of thin air. Par for the course with you.

What's actually more important, you are bashing the police for investigating and rooting out bad apples. How completely utterly dumb is that? I guess your idea of justice is countries like Russia, African, all sorts of Muslim countries where police abuse is literally a million times worse than in the US, where police brass happily participates in rapes, beatings, extortions and no one ever loses their badge. Duh

it's right in the OP what is in and what is not in what they counted.

The OP is rather clear that the police, even when their sexual predator got busted and its story published in the news, sometimes keeps their bad apples in their mids. That is rather the opposite of rooting out.
Indeed the police force that is happy with keeping their bad apples, looks completely utterly dumb.

All those that hate cops should opt out of 911 services.
Push your city and or county to disband all PDs and SOs and patrol your own streets. Investigate crimes on your own and pull citizens arrests when needed.
    Have fun.

Lol you are inflating the number of rogue cops kicked out of the service and claiming that they don't get kicked out of the service in sufficient numbers all in one post. Is it smart or you don't quite understand yourself what it is you're bleating about and what your beef is? Duh

I hope they were put on the sex offender list for using a position of authority to commit sex crimes

In 2008 state and local law enforcement which is what I think you are talking about employed approximately 1.1 million people with another 100,000 part time officers. That is 1.2 million total and you are talking about one sex crime a day for approximately 1.2 million. Even if as you say, what you reported is an undercount, 2 or 3 a day still would be statistical insignificant. This comes out to a sex crimes per year by law enforcement to 0.0003%. That is 3 ten throusands of one percent.

I am sure any community in the United States or any place else in the world would love to have their sex crime rate at 3/10,000 of one percent and that is for a whole year. 365 out of 1.2 million people ain't bad even if it is the police. Using your figures. Even if you multiplied your figure by a thousand bring it to 3,650 sex crimes a year, that is still only an 0.003%. 3/1,000 of a single percentage point.

Nor the number who are allowed to resign or retire. Unions don't make it easy to fire anyone, so I suspect these numbers reflect only the cases where they went to all that trouble.

Unlike other professions, police officers have the authority to strip people of their liberty, which is why they must be held to a higher standard than those without such an authority.

It is ironic, or maybe it's just blatant hypocrisy, that those who defend gun ownership and small government are the first to defend the police state and the very institutions which will, without compunction, confiscate your firearms when commanded to do so. And, of course, you'll give them up without a fuss like good sheep.

While most statists cannot imagine life without government programs, I think you mean decentralized law enforcement services provided by the market rather than the state. Why, only people who really value small government would want that. How would you defend all of your precious big government social and economic programs without the heavy hand of state violence to back it up?

The Second Amendment explicitly states that the militia is charged with providing for the "security of a free state", yet the same people who constantly invoke that Amendment are the biggest apologists for a governmental police state, which is the exact opposite of a militia.

I defend my gun rights, I also defend the vast vast majority of good hard working officers in this country.
