What is laughable is the fear mongering and hyperbole surrounding the "Russia is at war with us" nonsense narrative.

Russia and the US have been spying on each other for decades ... this is not "WAR".

Russia and the US have been hacking each other since before the internet .. and certainly ever since. This is not "WAR".

The US has been meddling in the electoral process of foreign nations ... WAY MORE .. than Russia has ever been guilty of ... never heard anyone refer to this as "Waging War" on these other nations.

    Get a grip

So a Kangaroo Court has now made it criminal for foreigners to post the truth of facebook.

What does Hillary have to do with this ?

If this is serious then you would have a coherent response to my post - as in actually addressing the issues I raised - which you have not done.

Wow... no wonder trump loves people like you. Don’t you ever read the news? Now the FBI is a kangaroo court?. These are not some cute foreigners posting the “truth”...they’re dangerous cyber enemies intruding in our democracy. Shame on you for keeping yourself so uninformed

Mueller exaggerates, Russian meddling should not be tolerated, but I've seen some of the ads and postings, the poor quality, lousy grammar and limited resources show this Russian effort was insignificant. They did impersonate citizens, fraudulently opened accounts and should be prosecuted, but this isn't worth more than a diplomatic reprimand, not a nuclear exchange. The amateurish antics of these 13 Russians strongly suggest their efforts could not have been sponsored, endorsed or promoted by the Russian authorities, it would be an embarrassment for them. We know the Russians have a well-developed intelligence gathering entity, Putin was a relatively high-ranking figure in their KGB, it is claimed the way he swings his arms around as he walks is due to the habit he acquired from wearing a gun holster in his armpit. I cannot imagine Putin would be in any way involved in this aspect of Russian meddling. If the Russian intelligence services were involved I don't expect Mueller would ever find out, I'm sure they've got enough English-speaking agents who can spell, probably even some who are familiar with slang and rap. I expect a Putin-led meddling effort would be much more subtle and practically subliminal instead of rallying supporters and opponents of immigration to the same street corner at the same time.

My explanation for this Russian meddling is online marketing, I think the 13 Russians were unlawfully sent over to acquire fake identities and blog in order to purchase advertising with aim of generating followers and 'likes'. They came to the US in the middle of a very confrontational election that presented stark contrasts, it would be easy to earn 'clicks' online just by posting on any of a wide range of issues either candidate saw differently; environmentalism, inequality, racism, sexism, immigration, homosexuality, Muslims... any of these subjects lends itself easily to support and opposition and these are the subjects the 13 Russians posted about and promoted. I think they were not aiming at influencing the elections, rather than found these were the topics citizens were talking about in the middle of an election campaign.
