The article in USA Today is too funny. It says that Russia isn't giving any money to Ukraine and that is pressure. In other words if you leave me and go to another I have to keep giving you money or else I am pressuring you.

It also said that Russia has a habit of creating friction between different ethnic groups, well excuse me what have we been doing in the Middle East?

At least in the Crimea with the Russians the people will have food to eat. Will they have food and medicine in the rest of Ukraine? I don't think so. According to the Israeli Debkafile, the U.S. which was so active in Ukraine has now butted out because the country is broke, and Russia is certainly not going to give them money, so it's now up to the IMF and Merkel to feed them, and boy they better watch out, the Germans are known for their frugality as well as austerity.

In the ultra efficient way German way, everything will be measured not by the sufferings and pains of the people, but by what their accounting books tell them.

It's no game. The Russians are about fifty eight percent of the population, and Russian passports are being given out. I read that even the Greeks want the Russian passports for protection.

I think Russia wants to stop the claims of the Tatars which are heavily supported by Turkey. I read somewhere that every move Russia was making was reminiscent of the moves Jack Kennedy made before the Cuban missile crisis.

That's because they are Berkut. They were fired by Kiev and Crimea invited them in. Now we're going to have to see what happens in the Eastern section which is also predominantly Russian. Oh well look at it this way, Merkel won't have to feed them. :roflol:

Today, mass hooliganism is a means to establish a new pro West government.

What is legitimate about the losers of the last election rebelling until they get their way.
It may not have been a perfect election, but there is another one scheduled, Yes?
    Even :flagus: has imperfect elections.

The Turk I e-mail is patiently awaiting his chance to vote out Erdogan.
Why is it legitimate for pro West Ukrainians to install a new government via violence?

    Moi :oldman:
    Ukraine is Russia like
    Texas is America
    For longer too .

Everything I read and hear in the Western press about Russia sounds like nothing but Polish paranoias. The Russians in the Crimea dreamt of the day it would become part of Russia again and I can feel the pain Russia had at losing it. I relate it as being the equivalent of the U.S. losing Texas or California and worse. Russia knows there is no way the situation in Ukraine will stabilize, so Russia might be playing a waiting game, not only with the Crimea, but with the Russian dominated Eastern section of Ukraine as well. On the other hand it might want to move fast to split the country up before terms are set with the E.U. and IMF.

Ukraine right now has no money and Russia will not help them out, so in a few days the army will expect to be paid as well as everyone else. I really pity the people and the way they were deceived by the E.U. and U.S. ..especially the young people who really believed they would have a better life. The terms the IMF will set is exceedingly harsh, and this is what turned Yakunovich to Russia. It will not be an easy life for the Ukrainians, probably the exact opposite of what they expected.
