To me it looks like 2016 will be a year of political dynasties. Clinton should dominate the Democratic Primary (if she runs), and Rand Paul is looking like a competitor, so it'll be up to the GOP establishment to rally around a strong candidate, probably Jeb Bush.

There is the likelihood of a progressive insurgent to run in the Democratic Primary, and the potential of a Green Party candidate to reach out to Libertarians a build a strong third-party ticket.

    How would you vote?

No self respecting Libertarian is going to vote Green Party. If they do they are in no way shape or form a Libertarian.

I am hoping for someone new like Ben Carson or Gov Walker from my state. Jeb Bush has to much baggage and Paul has said some really goofy things like the reason that he opposed ending school segregation, although he wasn't as nutty as his father was on foreign policy issues. At least Paul acknowledges that Iran shouldn't have nukes.

I will consider all of the party-nominated candidates. The Democrats, Libertarians, and Republicans are quite unlikely to nominate someone for whom I want to vote. There is almost no chance at all of the Constitution Party, Reform Party, or Americans Elect putting forward someone I'd support, either. More likely than not, I will support the nominee selected by the Green, Socialist, or Justice Party USA. If those people all turn out to be batsh*t insane in the next election cycle it is hard to say which way I'll lean. A libertarian favoring a mixed economy and guaranteed minimum income would snag my support, or perhaps a Democrat at the leftmost flank of the Progressive Caucus provided she or he is not a particularly communitarian, paternalistic, or corporatist sort of advocate for social democracy.

No parties in the United States seem to align well with my perspective. It's hard to know in advance who will come closest.

The last time around I my order of preference looked like this:

    Best | Stein (G), Anderson (J), Alexander (S), Johnson (L), Obama (D), Roemer (A), Romney (R), Goode (C) | Worst
