Those pesky kids are whisking past the border patrol with their tricycles!

And the politicians in Washington have been saying how secure are border is now. Good job Obama!

I'm sure the Mexican government will also blame the U.S. for breaking up families.

You mean support for legal immigration rather than lawbreakers?

I suppose the lib alternative is hatred for America and the rule of law.

you have no problem with foreigners using the US as their dumping ground for unwanted children? how about Latin America being such a hellhole that parents are risking their children just to get them to the border? does none of this bother you?

No, generally when we talk about immigrants (illegal or otherwise), notice how it's always 'those dirty Mexicans' style stories and general 'feel' of a post. I mean, why are we so adamant about a southern border and not a norther border? If you're going to be an ass to people wanting to come into the country, at least be consistent. Otherwise, it just looks like blatant racism towards our neighbors to the south.

So it appears you are for an open border policy........just let anybody in the World come here and sign up for food stamps, Medicaid........be sure and tell your children that you are actively supporting the destruction of their future

You're obviously not capable of understanding the nuances of my position. You believe that your view can only have an equal and opposite view. This is untrue and pointless for me to explain that to you. It's what we call a false dichotomy because you believe there's only 2 possible extreme positions and nothing more. Furthermore, you reach into the clouds of idiocy and pull out a vapor argument for the last part of post.

This is why we cannot have nice things in this country.

So please explain your position on immigration.......if you have no problem with these Mexican children crossing the border illegally and immediately start stealing your tax dollars.......why not all the kids in Honduras.......El Salvador.......Guatemala.......where do you draw the line.......we already have 20 million illegals how many more do you want to pay for? I was in line to pay for groceries last night with an illegal Mayan woman in front of me with her brood of four children.......of course she paid for her groceries with food stamps. When I checked out I just looked at the cashier and said 'I could only afford two kids'.....he just looked at me laughed and shrugged his shoulders like 'yep, we are really saps aren't we'

You know she was illegal? You also inferred that a look was interpreted deliberately by you as knowing exactly what that person was thinking.

And no, I don't feel like explaining my position to you because you will likely retort with more xenophobic horse (*)(*)(*)(*), which is also what your post I quoted was full of. I'm not sure you even understand how America was designed from the get-go.

    An illegal Mayan...that's rich.

That's what I thought..........other than 'let them all in, we have a limitless pot of money to feed, cloth and take care of them' you really can't articulate your immigration position.......but, hey, thanks for playing and try again real soon.........and don't forget to bring those magically words 'xenophobic' and 'racist' which allow you to pretend to have an argument when you, in fact, have nothing to add to the discussion

You're right, dude. Your ESP is severely overpowering. You can tell who's illegal just by looking at them and you can tell me what my positions on specific issues are without me even telling you!

    Very nice!

All of these accusations are utterly misdirected at "liberals".

Border enforcement and deportations has MASSIVELY INCREASED under Obama.

It was the policies and desires of the Republicans to allow in as much slave labor as they could to lower wages for Americans and increase corporate profits.

Th lousy hypocrisy of our Right Wing in this matter is legendary. Especially in their demands for a hugely expensive, impossible, and unworkable "border fence" BS (more corporate welfare for Halliburton type insiders), instead of simply jailing those who employ illegals while pocketing the vast sums of money they steal from American workers in this manner.

From the OP article we see the truth that the Republican lies try to hide:

Since you are incapable of articulating your position on the subject I thought I would take a stab at filling in the blanks.......you are totally given permission to correct where I missed anything......and, yes, she was Mayan and illegal as hell

No, actually, I'm not incapable of articulating my position. It's that I know exactly where the discussion will go because you started FROM that location and it's really not where I would even care to go. If I have to roll up my pants, chances are, I'm not going there.

Apparently you didn't know when our ancestors migrated over here from Europe, they had to have documentation on who they were and had to have a HEALTH CHECK b/f they were allowed on the mainland to protect the rest of the people from any communicable disease..

Now don't you think that's only sensible? And why was it sensible back then, but not now?

Myself and others don't care who comes here to live as long as they come here legally and w/the required documentation and health check.

Can you name one other country on this planet that would allow anyone to enter illegally, allowed to stay and the people of that country would be willing to financially support those illegals?

Still incapable I see.........so I'll stick with my theory that you are fine with anyone in the World sneaking into the US without a background or health check and immediately going on welfare......and that is somehow 'good' for the country.........that seems to be your position and you fail to articulate any thing else other than calling people worn out names like 'racist' and 'xenophobic'.........pathetic

That's the thing. This talk is pushing to basically allow policies actually be considered where no one's going to 'legally' be here. Citizenship is like a distant future thing for anyone with brown skin. It's pretty (*)(*)(*)(*)ing ugly if you ask me. We'll let them work for (*)(*)(*)(*) wages for us because we're too cool to do (*)(*)(*)(*)ty jobs and won't even reward them for their loyalty with citizenship. That's where all of this xenophobia is going. Isolationism...unless you're willing to do our (*)(*)(*)(*) jobs.

Oh, I read the title and thought maybe they were going the other way....my bad. You know, with all the protests about how poorly they're treated and all.

As horrible as minorities claim they have it here, I've wonder the same thing about another certain minority, too. Who knows, maybe they just can't afford the fare.

People who have no problem with illegal immigration lack the self preservation gene. I wonder if they have children, because they must not care much for them being OK with billions being wasted yearly on people who never should be here in the first place and offer nothing of value to society....besides Democrat votes that is. That's the only reason Democrats and liberals support an open border and abolishing any laws that prevent people from coming over.

I used to live in El Paso as a kid, very close to the bridge. I used to ride my bike over to Juarez to play with friends and buy candy and ices. It was no big deal then, the guards knew the kids and it was safe to be in Juarez in those days, at least during daytime anyway; we were asked our names at first and where we lived, and then never bothered after that. It's not even remotely like that any more, of course., though that may be what this is all about, just kids going to see relatives or screw around with friends.
