    Sources ... examples:

    https://www.cbsnews.com/news/coronavirus-united-states-60000-cases-daily-high/

And for the capacity limit ...

    https://edition.cnn.com/2020/07/08/us/emergency-room-doctors-coronavirus-capacity/index.html

    https://time.com/5863564/hospitals-capacity-coronavirus-surge/

    https://abc17news.com/news/national...-are-losing-hope-as-hospitals-reach-capacity/

It is very interesting that the American right-wing media completely ignores this unpleasant fact ... not even the official number of the government and authorities of 60,000 new infections in one day e.g. is any report worth from Fox News on their homepage.
For this, however, only all possible BS reports what supports a relaxation of the measures or criticizes lockdown measures.

That says everything about the quality of this righty BS news channel! Unpleasant facts and truths are not reported automatically, and since Fox News says nothing about it, it cannot be right when others report about them! Really ... a warning should be attached to the red MAGA cap like with cigarettes regarding health hazards: Wearing this cap can cause brain damages!
Trumponians' total ignorance can no longer be explained in any other way ...

Even in my country it was reported ... in left and right media. And on TV, a senior doctor from the Houston hospital emergency room was interviewed. He said that everyone who refused to use the mask and all those who described the virus as exaggeration and the like are cordially invited to do a 24 hour shift with him in the emergency room.

    I can only sign that!

But sure ... it can't be anything else, at least everything else as the protestors as reason is only irrelevant in number ... I know.
And certainly not any loosening and the general ignoring the wearing of masks (even without the riots) and all the like can be the reason ...

But no comment that Fox News, which has been so highly praised by the righties, does not report on it at all? I mean ... if it is all the fault of the bad ATIFA / Liberals / BLM & Co. ... that would be like a penalty in ice hockey without a goalkeeper for Fox News to rattle about it, eh?
Strange, even that Fox News doesn't make ... maybe because this claim about te protestors is nonsense and they don't do out of this reason?

Fauci warned that if we weren't careful we would end up with 100,000 cases per day.

When he said that were were around 22,000 per day.

    61,000 yesterday

    https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/

And Trump is denigrating Fauci while trying to force schools to open in the middle of this

You're right, it's the protesters. And no sign of masks or social distancing:

I find this certain hypocrisy in the statement that all the bad protestors are to blame for not wearing a mask, just ridiculous.

Who has generally struggled all the time against this obligation to wear a mask, stubbornly say this is a restricting of personal freedoms according to the constitution ... Who has mostly questioned the sense of wearing the mask here?

Want to talk seriously about it who fought masks at least?

I would be very careful with blaming here in your case man ...

People have bills to pay to survive. So infections will rise. There is also more testing. So positive case numbers will increase. What is the surprise in normality? As I understand it, the death rate is not increasing. If so, this is a good thing. Therefore we have progress, normality, and good. Looks hopeful to me. We are also now flush with masks, sanitizer, and ventilators.

This is what can happen if other areas of the country are not careful.

Except for the fact that the limit of hospitals ... and here in particular the number of ICU beds and possibilities ... has been reached by more and more hospitals ... really hopeful development then?

The mortality rate in the USA at COVID-19 is currently almost twice as high after almost 5 months as a bad flu season (lasts 9 months) ... currently over 132,000 deaths from corona and around 70,000 deaths in a bad flu season.

It's also about the number of sick people, because if there are 12 free ICU beds for 12 people who need it ... whether it's corona infected, other illnesses or injuries ... then the doctors will have to start playing God. 2 people have bad cards in terms of healing and medical care ... and I don't think anyone here wants to be one of these 2 people himself or that it is one of his relatives or friends! ;-)

Forcing taxpayers to bear the cost of treating sick smokers, and then suing the tobacco industry for the cost; is like forcing taxpayers to eat cow manure, and blaming the cow for the taste.

    Intertesting statement concerning covid times.
Because if you do no comply by CDC standards, what you think you are doing, forcing taxpayer to eat cow manure and blaming the cow for the taste.

The nice thing about living in NY state is that we don't have to worry about the president bringing his carnival of death here. I have a hunch that he won't bother to show his face in the state at any time during the campaign.

People still have financial responsibilities and have to eat, etc. It's a trade off. Very few people are independently wealthy or have the reserves to fall back on to stay home and do nothing. It's just a fact of life. I also suspect that a large portion of the deaths from covid would have died anyway from heart, lung, liver, kidney, cancer and other ailments. Three million Americans die every year. I'm not saying that reasonable caution isn't in order. Just that one must consider the whole picture. One can only do so much.

The Chinese are loving this. Democrats have all their bases covered. Trump is to blame because he didn't do enough. Then when he does more they call him a dictator. Meanwhile they applaud their democrat governors for continuing the lockdown and criticize Trump for wanting Americans to be able to get back to work.

So? What was done to reassure the protestors that their concerns were being heard? Where was the role modelling to maintain social distancing whilst Trump ran rallies?

And are you SURE that it was the protestors?

It will also mean no ICU beds for other reasons such as MVA or Cardiac bypass or any of a myriad of reasons

This appeared on CNN. That's just a little slice of the number of young that wore no masks.

Democrat run cities, counties and states......what can I say?

It is really odd that I just had more intensive discussions with many of you rightis and Trumponians in this forum, because you question the sense of the obligation to wear a mask, see your constitutional freedom threatened by wearing a mask and the danger that the corona virus poses represents, plays down and considers it less dangerous than a flu infection.

Now the numbers are increasing drastically ... and all the lefties who did not wear a mask ... something you spoke out against so clearly ... are to blame. Sorry, this is hypocritical and ridiculous!

Only a few loony righties. I do find it comical that the left wouldn't say a word about mask less and no social distancing protesters, but have a problem with singing in church.

So your conclusion is ... To hell with Corona, just go on with the dollar rolling?

Interesting. I hope for you that you or one of your loved ones do not get infected or need an ICU bed because of another illness or serious injury, but the virus does not leave any ICU beds in hospitals free for you!

I think then you would wake up ... and call for sensible measures and begin to condemn the BS that your government, your president and most of the governors (regardless of democrat or republican) are holding.

Ask yourself why so many other western countries can handle Corona in general and in economic issue so much better than you Americans ... There must be some reason for that, eh?

But then there are a lot of "loony" alone in this forum ...

And do you have freedom of religion in the USA, according to which everyone can believe what he wants and serve his God as he / she wants ... which also guarantees the choice of atheism as a constitutional right? Why should atheists sing in the church?

Religion is irrelevant and uninteresting in this issue ... even I understnad that you make a hint to the infections happened in churches where people didn't wear a mask due to sing to their god and so made a mass infection with Corona by droplet infection ... and this was blamed by those you call lefties.

Was it bad that many protestors didn't wear a mask? Yes ...
It is bad to wear no mask in public in general and no matter where? Yes ...

But isn't it odd that righties propaganda platform Fox News does not catch this up and start with big headlines to accuse these evil lefty protestors to be guilty for these record numbers of new infections? I mean ... you clam this out of sme reason and fr Fox news it must be like 4th July and Christmas together to blame the evil left as yu do, isn't it?
But at least they don't and not even reported yesterday at all about the new record numbers of new infections. This make you not thinking about somehow?

    Lol!

The left protestors were outside which greatly reduces transmission, with seing protestors more often than not wearing masks, many with good spacing ecen outside, at least until the riot police started shooting, arresting unarmed marchers and making hell (and none of this a criticism to the lopoters who rightfully were to be arrested!)

Those "Right Wing Loonies" are everywhere, demanding and getting into areas around the countries, in stores, in back up in churches hugging and clapping hands together, public buildings face to face with legislatures, where, oddly, highly armed protestors demanding to not even use masks, going into bars drinking and carousing hand in hand yet none opf them were stopped or even made to do routine inspections, bottle by bottle. Look at Tulsa's pep ralley with Trump, masks rare, ripping off the spacing limits to protect people, no masks or distancing in lines before and after.

That "looney Right" IS Trump, the Republican, and the deadly Looney Right that wants to poor Covid into our schools, and forcing workers to work in slaughter houses and all the other dirty jobs.
