    Abshire, Marc

Air Force Lt. Col. Marc Abshire, 40, a speechwriter for Air Force Secretary James Roche, was working on several speeches this morning when he felt the blast of the explosion at the Pentagon. His office is on the D ring, near the eighth corridor, he said. "It shot me back in my chair. There was a huge blast. I could feel the air shock wave of it," Abshire said. "I didn't know exactly what it was. It didn't rumble. It was more of a direct smack. I said, 'This isn't right. Something's wrong here.'" "We all went out in the hallway. People were yelling 'Evacuate! Evacuate!' And we found ourselves on the lawn and looking back on our building. It was very much a surrealistic sort of experience. It's just definitely not right to see smoke coming out of the Pentagon. It was a very strange sight to see."

    Anlauf, Deb & Jeff
Mrs. Deb Anlauf, resident of Colfax, Wisconsin, was in her 14th floor of the Sheraton Hotel [located 1.6 mile from the explosion], (immediately west of the Navy Annex) when she heard a "loud roar":

Suddenly I saw this plane right outside my window.
You felt like you could touch it; it was that close. It was just incredible. "Then it shot straight across from where we are and flew right into the Pentagon.

It was just this huge fireball that crashed into the wall (of the Pentagon). When it hit, the whole hotel shook. (...) Jeff didn't feel the impact of the plane crash as directly as his wife. He was attending an environmental meeting on the second floor of the hotel when the plane struck the Pentagon. About five seconds before the crash, Jeff said he heard the sound of "tin being dropped," likely as construction workers building an addition to the hotel saw the plane and dropped their building materials. "Then, about 5 seconds later, the whole hotel shook," Jeff recalled. "I could feel it moving. We said 'Oh, my gosh, what's going on?' "

Of course this plane is slowing down for landing.

A 'standstill' plane for a while before shooting across from where they were???

    Cruising Speed
Airspeed is measured with respect to the velocity of the object through the air. The average cruising speed is between 550 and 580 mph. Wind resistance is a key factor when determining the speed of the aircraft.

Closing laps of the 2012 Indianapolis 500 featuring Takumo Sato crashing on the final lap in turn 1. Many of the fans booed when Sato tried to pass Dario in turn 1. It was presumed to be Dario's fault taking Sato out, but after review from other camera angles it was found that only Sato was to blame for his wreck as he had lost control going into the corner. I tried 3 times to upload this video along side of the others from the same race. I'm not sure what the problem is/was, but hopefully it is working this time of uploading it.

One of the most bizarre and unbelievable accounts given by anyone with TV network connections on Sept. 11, 2001 was that of Theresa Renaud, described as the wife of CBS Early Show producer Jack Renaud.

Her account is available on the Internet and was presented in the film September Clues, which alleges that video we saw on and after Sept. 11 was tampered with to deceive the public.

Renaud was recounting live on CBS how she had been at her window and had heard the North Tower explosion. While telling the story, she sees the second alleged impact. Her account of that, live, was very revealing.

Before that second impact, she explained to host Bryant Gumbel that her office building in Chelsea looked “directly on to” the towers (even though it was several miles north). She described how her building was the tallest in the area, giving her a good view of the World Trade Center.

    .

Renaud described the first impact this way: “I would say that approximately 10 minutes ago there was a major explosion from, probably it looks like from the 80th floor, it looks like it’s affected probably four to eight floors, major flames are coming out of the, let’s see, the north side and also the east side of the building, yes.”

Gumbel then asks her if she heard the explosion. She continues: “Oh yes, yes we did as a matter of fact, in fact we did hear because I was standing there pretty much standing looking out the window. I didn’t see what caused it or if there was an impact.”

She didn’t see what caused it. She heard an explosion (not clear if she saw it, too), but she didn’t know if there was an “impact.” So far, so good.

She is apparently still looking at the towers during the interview – then the second plane apparently hits. Here’s where it gets better:

“Oh there’s another one, another plane just hit! Oh my God, another plane has just hit another building! It flew right into the middle of it! Explosion!”

One second she has no idea what caused the first explosion (specifically saying she didn’t know if there was an impact), and the next second she is saying that ANOTHER plane has hit ANOTHER building.

    Hypnagogic Imagery Technique

The Hypnagogic Imagery Technique (usually abbreviated to HIT) is a method of inducing lucid dreams. Using it, the dreamer must be aware throughout the transition from wakefulness to sleep. In this respect, it can be considered a branch of the more widely known Wake Initiated Lucid Dream technique

    http://lucid.wikia.com/wiki/Hypnagogic_Imagery_Technique

    Lucid dream
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucid_dream

    -----------------------------------------
    http://www.world-of-lucid-dreaming.com/can-you-confuse-lucid-dreams-with-reality.html

    Scary stuff.

In my dream, I was standing on a mountain over a forest. The desire to fly made me realize I was dreaming. I became lucid and the scenery shot into focus - suddenly I could see thousands of pine trees as vividly as real life. I got a sense of how high up I was, and now, when I looked into the distance, I could see the shiny silvery sea. If it looked so real, how could I be sure I wasn't awake?

(what could happen if you fell off that mountain while it was so real that it seemed like real life)?

If the person 'dies' if they fell off the mountain in their lucid dream, they would think that they 'died' by falling to their death off of a mountain. But the paramedics which arrive to where the body might be 'dead' would find a person on their bed and estimate their death as a death which occurred while they were asleep.

    False Awakenings

A final word on false awakenings - aka dreaming of waking up.

These can be exceptionally realistic dreams, like the most vivid kind of lucid dream, and yet you still don't know you're dreaming. Because you dreamed of waking up, you naturally assume you are now awake. Confusing, much?

A false awakening has all the characteristics of a lucid dream (vivid, intense, self-awareness) without realizing you're dreaming or taking conscious control. It is a good example of a scenario where you can confuse a dream with reality based on it's tangible and realistic nature.

Could this lady have somehow managed to intertwine her lucid thoughts, as if she was in a lucid dream, with events which were occurring around her?

And why are so many people 'just looking out' the window at just the right moment when the plane flies right past it all the time?

Renaud was recounting live on CBS how she had been at her window and had heard the North Tower explosion.
