McCain has already announced that he's voting no on the bill.

    This was Trump's proposal?

I suspected the bill was dead when Paul bailed. That **** sandwich deserved to get sent back to the kitchen...

By definition rinos are most likely to be replaced by democrats....that's how rinos win. It's the same thing with our blue dogs...it's likely them or a republican

No it wasn't, he proposed nothing. Why??? He claimed he had a plan on the campaign trail...why would he keep letting the senate fail without proposing his own plan?

The GOP senators are terrified, those in primaries next year, of voting against ACA or health care fixes.

They may be right about ACA but if they won't do their job (hc fixes), the Dem candidates are going to pound them over the head.

I don't think he actually ever had a proposal. He did promise healthcare for all (which is pretty much on the hairy edge of single payer, which he was a fan of at one point).

Did Paul confirm he won't support the bill? I know McCain did. And no, I don't expect Paul to support it. I wish they would give him more involvement in the process. He knows medicine and he knows how dysfunctional DC is. Maybe he could come up with something palatable.

Because he doesn't run the Senate?

Did the Senate vote on the House bill? No. Evidently, it's their way or the highway, but all they've produced is no way.

McConnell's gonna be in hot water for this...

That makes sense, but Bratt's victory over Cantor shows how the conservative grassroots is upsetting the conventional wisdom. Old assumptions don't necessarily hold true like they used to...

I don't think he had one, either, and I wasn't happy with the pledges he made.

Not formally, but he was on TV yesterday morning trashing the bill and explaining why he wouldn't support it.

That would be nice, but he he's been too skimpy with the lard...

Cantor was no rino tho, he was just establishment. You can definitely get rid of them.
Trump doesn't have to run the senate to give them the bill he prefers. Otherwise what's the point of putting out a plan during the campaign? He seemed completely disconnected from the process. Why wasnt he out advocating for it??

Actually, it's their failure to repeal and replace the unACA that's going to hurt them in the primaries.

LOL - Voters have killed Democrats over the unACA. In many respects the Republican failure to replace it is the worst thing that could have happened to Democrats. They're still left holding that flaming bag of ****...

That is before they wised up to what is the ACA and that the GOP hates them.

    Why bother?

The Senate is only entertaining its own ideas.

And the senate rejected it. Why doesn't trump propose one? He's got a little more pull than Paul Ryan lol
Does he not want to be associated with the failure...again lol

    I
We on the Right are fighting against two different enemies -- one on the Left, and the other one is just a bunch of rotten, cowardly RINO's.
The way this country has gone, we can get rid of the RINO's (maybe!), but then we have to fight the welfare-sucking radical Democrats.

Don't you see? We on the Right are being stabbed in the back by RINO's who should have been dependable Republicans. And, of course, the hyperliberal Left is very motivated and organized against anyone and everyone who isn't a welfare-sucking Socialist. The way I see it, we're just pretty much f*cked and I honestly don't know what we can do about it. Too many people want "free stuff", and that's where the 'herd' has gone in a spirited stampede. They grew lazy, fat, and used to the idea of government giving them everything they need for years under Comrade Obama. Now they'll fight like mad dogs to keep it, and get more if they can.... If you injected them truth serum, they'd say, "Why work if you don't HAVE to...?"

Years ago we should have made it a law that if anyone takes unearned welfare from the government in a given year, then they are NOT allowed to VOTE at any time in that same year! That would have put an end to all of this excessive welfare sh*t....

Trump just flat refuses now to leave this monstrous thing alone and let it die on its own. That is exactly what it will do if he will only give up on the damned thing and let it crash and burn -- exactly as the idiot Democrats designed it to do in the first place!

Why do you keep side stepping the question of where the Trump Healthcare Plan is. He ran on it and you are giving him a Free Pass and passing blame on to the Republicans.

He claimed that Obamacare was gone on Day 1 and would be replaced with his plan that would insure ALL Americans. A affordable, great plan.

Crash and burn is fine. Just don't replace it with single payer.
