    I can't stand them. It's starting to happen randomly in florida now as well. Randomly.

    I simply don't need straws, except in unusual circumstances. I'm not five and in need of sippy-cup style help to down a beverage. I don't get why adults need them. It pisses me off when a restaurant brings me a glass of water with the straw already opened and in the glass. All they've accomplished is wasting their employer's money while adding to the landfill. Zero benefit to me; I just remove the straw and set it on the table.

    Yeah I know it's weird I never use them at home, except maybe occasionally when we're having a mixed drink and its something I want to stir.

    But boy I'll tell you when I go out to a restaurant I'm looking for a dam good straw, maybe I just hate Turtles I don't know what it is.

    As kids, there were only paper straws, they worked fine. With your generation using plastic straws, you've harmed the planet with plastic waste.

    I use maybe 3-4 straws/year. I don't use them. I don't recall paper straws in the 60's/70's.

    I'd argue all POTUS are bullies. Thats part of the point.

    She's by definition a supermodel.

    And I don't think being a supermodel and first lady of the free world is exactly "dreams soured".

    I bet someone could paint it that way.
