My question relates to post #2444 to which you added the comment "Haters gotta hate."

 

What hate? She's the highest rated
Trump. But then she's only a Trump by marriage.

 

The women of the left (samples on pic and in this thread) are not fit to be in the sisterhood of women because they refuse to stand up for a woman whos being criticized because of hate for her husband. Not anything Melania has done... their hate runneth over and she happens to be their target.

Now before you cry out BUT MICHELLE... she gave us plenty of reasons to dislike her which had nothing to do with Barack.

What has Melania ever done to deserve their nastiness?

I don't hate her, by the way. I just don't find her worship worthy. What a person looks like on the outside has nothing to do with their character. She can afford high priced clothes, high priced makeup and hair artists, and can also afford to spend a reported four hours in a chair getting that look created for her.

That's not worship-worthy.

 

"Haters gonna hate" implies something beyond hating someone because of who they married.

Women are usually worse to other women than men are on women, but that's a different topic.

I don't respond to topics by trying to deflect from the subject at hand, so there will be no "Michelle...".

People can dislike her and it has nothing to do with who she married and/or that some people think she's beautiful. Many were upset by what she allowed to happen to the Rose Garden just a few weeks ago. Others are not pleased that she doesn't use her fame to do more for social causes. There have been reports of her plagiarizing Michelle and snubbing Michelle. If anyone is hating, it doesn't sound like it's stemming from any of the former 1st Ladies.

 

In her defense, the Rose Garden was in desperate need of some cleanup. The tree's roots were causing problems for everything else, and the plants needed to be thinned out.

All of the trees were saved and moved elsewhere on the property.

Also note that the before picture shows Spring flowers, like tulips, and the after pic shows late Summer flowers. It's hard to compare the two.

It's a good improvement.

 

I don't disagree. I really have no opinion on it the matter. I just mentioned it as a point in which others seemed to be unhappy with her actions, the results or even the idea that it was changed.

 

I don't imagine that she broke any nails digging up roots herself.
I get your point about the whole episode being blown out of all proportion though.

Whenever this thread looks like dying a natural death, the OP posts a provocative paean to donald trump’s wife.

What I use to hear as "reasons" for disliking Michelle Obama were so petty and hateful, it was ridiculous. Now people have opinions about Melania. It just goes with the territory. I'm not sure why you are so distraught over this.

Her version of sisterhood is women who worship other women for their looks. Fortunately, there is a second sisterhood that has nothing in common with that version of sisterhood.
