Here's a review from 1940, published in the New York Times, on, "The Mortal Storm". That's the movie I recommend and posted. I'll post a portion. I recommend reading the rest at the link provided.

I don't think the Alt Right fascists are by any means mainstream GOP like my family for five generations. My father and brothers and grandfather all fought the Nazis then and would do so now.

 

I stand corrected. Maybe you will offer enough information next post, so that I won't have to assume or ask too many questions? I also asked for you or anyone to offer your opinions and rather than do that, you simply correct me. It's okay to correct me, but an answer to the questions would have corrected me and given your opinions.

History's a funny thing, there are all kinds of surprising details scattered about the footnotes.

While Hitler was exterminating Jews and other 'undesirables' and the U.S. was still undecided about entering WW2, a Nazi in China by the name of John Rabe was going to truly heroic efforts to protect Chinese citizens from the Massacre of Nanking -- Rabe had been living in China since 1908, had joined the Nazi party for its message of national socialism, and apparently had no clue what the party was actually about or what Hitler was doing. Upon finally returning to Germany in 1938, he lectured on the atrocities visited upon Nanking by the Japanese army and naively petitioned Hitler to influence the Japanese army away from further genocide. Which earned him endless trouble both before and after the war's end, both by the Gestapo and by Britain and Russia.

Anyhow, yeah. History ain't simple.

 

You should read American history. There was a propaganda campaign against Hitler and the Nazis and American white troops killed them by the droves but the around the southern POW camps in America loved them. They treated the black soldiers guarding them like dirt and the Nazis like kings.

 

How many black troops were that, ten? Black troops in Europe were used in support roles, not as front line soldiers. A few got to fly a few planes but it was not specific army policy for them to do it. When they actually got into fights it was more by accident than by planning.

Hitler did have an integrated army.

 

Heck, we had Jews in our concentration camps and sent some to Germany during the war. And not one Japanese person in Hawaii was ever thrown into a concentration camp. The reason why the ones on the mainland were placed in concentration camps was because of the over the top racist propaganda directed against the Japanese. If they had been free the mobs would have killed them.

Do you know any history? These were combat troops: infantry, tankers, combat engineers, fighter and fighter-bomber pilots, and they were on combat missions.

The Army had an entire black division in Italy engaged in combat operations.

Not really. The US forced the South American countries to deport their Jews to the US and to Canada, where they were placed in concentration camps. Some were then sent to Nazi Germany.

You can troll all you want, and I can correct that without any problem. The GOP can eliminate the Alt Right by simply stating these organizations do not represent GOP values and standards.

"African" Americans are not a race. They might be considered an ethnic group but individually they are a mixture of all races.
