http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/09/1...uspected-intruder-with-own-gun/?intcmp=hplnws A pacifist until you face a life threatening situation, eh? I thought pacifists believed they could reason their way out of these types of situations.
This is why anti-gun people simply can't win. They will either die out by the hands of criminals or survive and realize they have been wrong the entire time. They or someone they know. Either way, they are a dying breed. Pun intended.
Just to better understand, wasn't even the use of a cane a violation of pacifist principals? Aren't they a "turn the other cheek" kind of citizen?
Pacifists in America were best known for dodging the draft or spitting on servicemen during the Vietnam War. Pacifists should now be though of as "entitlement seekers" who want the police and military to keep the bad guys off their doorsteps without doing any effort on their own.
I'm a Pacifist, as I understand the word. I have no desire at all to harm any other life form, except for pigeons and seagulls. Oh. and cockroaches. I try hard to be "mad" at someone, but I can't think of anyone. When I go out foolin' around with my guns, I try to adopt a "defensive" mindset, but I can't shoot at human silhouette targets, let alone images of anyone in particular. I would very much prefer to live in a world where weapons of any kind had never even been imagined. But that isn't the world we have to live in. I'd like to buy the world a coke. But no, in this world, if you have a coke, someone will try to steal it from you. Fine then. Reach for my coke, and I'll blow your sorry butt into oblivion. Not my rule. But in this world, we live by a very long list of rules that we didn't make, and may not agree to. That's just how the world works.
