Pray tell who exactly is the "we" that is being referred to in the above statement? And why is there a need to attempt undertaking an impossible task, just for the sake of looking like something is being done?

 

There is no evidence that background check requirements for private sales do anything to reduce crime, prevent prohibited individuals from gaining access to firearms, or can even be enforced in the current legal climate. Do not claim that such evidence does exist, as it has not been presented by yourself even once during your time here.

 

Most gun owners are pretty responsible and take guns seriously. I'm a collector with my own FFL so I keep meticulous records. I rarely sell except to other serious collectors.

So yes it is easy to go to a booth at a gun show and pay to have a background check done. The question is how much is your peace of mind worth.

That is why it is difficult to learn things, when you ignore the truth, I learned how ineffective gun control is as an undercover Police Officer, I could make illegal gun and drug buys in many places, in minutes.....
Oh, they still ran a background check of their own, lol, what criminals did I hang out with etc..... lol

vegas calls pro gun posters "gun banners" because many of us have doubted his sincerity when he claims he opposes gun bans yet he constantly fluffs and praises governments that -among other things-ban guns

 

Back to the debate. A simple common sense gun control plan like presented in the op makes sense

 

only to those who want to harass gun owners and pretend they have done something to stop crime

to those of us who understand this subject, his suggestions are both silly and demonstrate a lack of understanding of current laws

 

It's about gun deaths. Gun control saves lives

 

What about Criminals that choke somebody like a chicken ? Or rape them ? Or kick them to death ?
Lots of people are killed without a gun.
Is that alright ? I mean if people are murdered without guns ?

You can reduce gun deaths to nothing, people will still get killed, just not with Guns.
