Lol nobody denies that the climate changes, clearly it changes. What is denied is the extent at which the change is due to the activity of man.

I don't think anybody doubts that it can be a problem.

There is no way to know if AA is successful because it's anonymous. But some estimates put it at a 3% success rate. I tend to believe it because the 12 steps seem to be more of a recruiting tool.

If you wanted to scroll down you could see the primarily US agencies, because listing the others all over the world would be too much of a read fest probably.

Consensus isn't proof or evidence. Of anything.
I am not sure consensus has any bearing on what is true.

What model for global climate change would you be using that says man isn't having a tremendous impact?

...and you know that graph goes back 400k years. That's before things like cars existed.

Of what, that cars exist, and or, greenhouse gases like CO2 trap heat?

There are plenty of natural sources of CO2 and methane is much worse and that occurs mostly in nature.

Prove natural sources don't make up the lions share of greenhouse gases prove man made sources are significant. Don't tell me 97% of a select few agree. That isn't science.

No, of course not. However, the point is that you can find a single person of piece of evidence that will support pretty much any position, but when many scientists start presenting many different lines of evidence using wildly different techniques and data that all come to the same conclusion you have to take note. Science does not progress on the ravings of a single person. It progresses by the culmination of additive knowledge compiled by many.

I thought a use of Occam's razor made me an adult?

Maybe global warming deniers are akin to people that believe cars don't exist?

Sure. That isn't really what is happening.

Wow, somebody better tell Einstein, Newton, and every other scientist that ever lived.
So who else helped compile Newtonian physics prior to Isaac Newton?

You do know that wind power is already cheaper than nuclear, right? Solar is very close too.

The causation is due to the CO2's molecules behavior with respect to photons. Higher frequency photons pass through much easier than lower frequency photons. That's just a fact. Quantum mechanics works the same way for everyone and everywhere. A good place to start with the causation is the papers I linked to in post #495. Note, the causal link was established from laboratory experiments first. The QM explanation came later after QM matured in the mid 20th century.

I thought of mentioning that are strokes of genius by a single person, but figured it was obvious that those are few and far between. Plus it was Newton himself that said "If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants". And Einstein didn't perform any of the tests of his theories. That came from other people.

"Duh cars extist so end is nigh" isn't occams razor. Its nearly intelligible.

sigh... the most ridiculous straw man.

When did I deny that global temprature had risen?

I also asked you what model you were using BTW, what is it then?

    :EDIT:

Oh yeah, the Occam's razor thing, cars exist and cut out the rest of the crap. That is unless you have a better model or something.

Didn't argue that. But way to miss the point.

    More points in not contesting.

You are the one that asked me if cars exist. That's crap. If you want to be treated like an adult act like one.

Go back to the post you asked that stupid nonsense and address those ****ing points.

I'll copy and paste those points if you are too lazy.
