And your evidence that California districts are gerrymandered is? Try to remember that "Democrats win elections" is not evidence of gerrymandering. Back in the real world, California is regarded as a model of fair districting.

Exactly how is Schiff's north Los Angeles district part of a gerrymander? Which Republican areas were carved out to give him a safe seat?

East, west and south of that district is solidly Dem. North is a competitive district, the 25th, where Republican Steve Knight just won 53-47. Since Schiff won 76-23, it would help the Democrats to pull Republicans from the 25th into the 28th. Schiff would still win easily, and Democrats would have a better chance in the 25th. But the Democrats _didn't_ do that. Schiff's district seems to be an example of Democrats _rejecting_ gerrymandering.

They pretty much have to pick what they will focus on here. Does the democrat congress spend it's time trying to destroy Trump or fix healthcare that is the question. There's only so much oxygen in a room and they need to decide which path gets it.

Good to know, though Obama Administration Officials blew these subpoenas off or just took the fifth, and even under Trump, the DOJ/FBI just refused them when they were inconvenient, even while the GOP was in charge.

But, the Senate may be very interested in all the leaking these Democrats do, if the Dems go investigation crazy, maybe the Senate will do the same to the House.

Trump, of course, will remain above the fray while he fills the Judiciary.

I sure hope Democrats are ready to legislate rather than getting drunk on subpoenas and wild investigations while fomenting strife, division, anti-Semitism and racism.
