That black people get punished harder by the US justice department when those people commit a similar crime with a similar background compared to white people. Than the whities are indeed at fault here. And when the US justice department is like this,.... than it seems obvious other institutions are not doing any better. And sob sob boo hoo.... the culture of racism within the white community is still obviously there are half a generation of the end of Apartheid rule.

Then ultimately the concept of affirmative action is nothing more than baseless window dressing, intended to make it appear that something is being done, while in reality nothing at all is being done.

Baseless? Well it's based on something called apartheid. A policy the US had and people like D Trump enjoyed when he was in his 20's. And when it is that in reality nothing is being done, than why are so many white people upset that it exists?

Apartheid was a long time ago in the past. It does not matter how many individuals who benefited from it are still alive. It does not matter how many of their current descendants have benefited from it. Apartheid is no longer in play, and is not a legitimate excuse for the people of today to not get their act together. So life was not fair to their ancestors. Get over it. Real life is not fair to anyone, but many still man up and move along regardless.

It may no longer be in play, but the effects of the policies are most certainly still present,... since it isn't that long ago at all.

    Sure, something is being done.
More qualified persons are being denied while quotas are being fulfilled.

The problem is it will never reflect in those culturally grounded in "the hood".

It was only ok when women and blacks were denied jobs and education ..women and blacks saw less qualified men get jobs and admissions to the top universities.

Tell that to the women and minority who are filling medical and law schools..that were once practically all white males. White males didn’t have to compete with more than half the population

Are those individuals actually in possession of the qualifications necessary to be present? What are their graduation rates? What is their level of qualification in comparison to others?

Did you ask that about white men for 200 years?
I don’t know the graduation rate but it’s probably comparable to white Men. To get into medical school you need the top scores and use commonsense..why would they accept anyone who isn’t qualified? It’s just your, prejudice assuming blacks and women are less competent

My Medical School, University of California, San Francisco '70-'74, had 25% AA enrollment.
    Not limited to Black students.

    Some could not read.
During Medical School they got reading lessons too.

Some of the Black students were caught cheating on exams
so the rest of us got proctored during tests.
The perps maintained they just wouldn't bust Not Black cheaters.
Sounds like UCLA basketball players in China ;)

Now I have no doubt someone(s) is gonna chime in and say it isn't true and I am a liar.
    I was there. Why lie?

But, YES, some Affirmative Action students were not qualified by academic history.
    They hadn't taken Pre-Med courses.

Don't count on Board & Licensing Exams
One must be 2 Standard Deviations below the mean to be failed! That's like the bottom 2%.
Not at all like would be lawyers face with their Bar Exam. In California, half fail.

And That's The Way It Was

If you see a Jewish doctor, you can be sure he wasn't Affirmative Action.

    FYI

    Then there is Howard too.

You’re right...I will call you a liar. I don’t believe for a minute that anyone got Into medical school unable to read. I think if you went to truMP university then I would believe you.
Why would you lie? It’s obvious, you can blame blacks for cheating, after all we know white guys would never cheat. Just an excuse to spew racism. ...it should be an insult to people here that you think they would believe you.
Guess they can’t find any qualified blacks so they accept illiterates. Right?

Affirmative Action in college admission is discriminatory and Harvard is currently investigated for violating Title VI of the 1964 Civil Rights Act. If you're barred from getting into Harvard for being smart, it's no different from the infamous Jewish quota, which limited the proportion of Jewish students to the proportion of Jews in the total population in the Ivy League colleges. Harvard used to effectively have a 15% quota for Jewish students.

And there is being barred from Harvard because you are not family to Harvard alumni.
    Is that different.
Harvard is a private university and not a tax supported one.
    Si ?

Wouldn't if be fun to know what percent of this Boards active members are
    of The Chosen? ;)
    Moi for one.
So 23AndMe says, 95%+ with a smattering of Neanderthal.

or the the ban of women! How do you suggest leveling the playing field? For centuries women and blacks were denied admission to these top universities that had incredible networking systems.
