This is not so much to discuss airplanes I have flown so much, though I will happily do my best to answer questions or reply to comments as to remark how one tracks airplanes.

Mooney N4775H when I flew it was at the Mooney Dealership in Hayward, CA. It was a very low time airplane, like brand new.

I also flew a different Mooney which will be discussed later.

So where is N4775H today? Believe it or not, on the East Coast of the USA area. I do not know it's full history so that is my next project.

It went to CT from St. Louis.

We enter in our pilots log book the type airplane and it's ID numbers each time we Fly.

I was amazed this Airplane is totally across the country from where I flew it.

The Mooney is a hot rod airplane. Around last September I took a chance and called my CFI from Hayward Airport where for me, he instructed me in 3 separate types of Piper Airplane. He recalled me from 1980 and claimed over the phone to me, I was a hot rod pilot.

I was not sure if he meant in skills or being reckless. I never saw myself being reckless. I never feared flying. When you stop to think where you are, perhaps a fearful type focus is he is up in air. And you know how thick air is. Very much a light gas. I am sure if you told a human living in 1700 he could actually be 35,000 feet up in the air in a machine that weighs this much, he would call you a fool, a liar and clearly insane.

    735,000 pounds

The 747's maximum takeoff weight ranges from 735,000 pounds (333,400 kg) for the -100 to 970,000 lb (439,985 kg) for the -8. Its range has increased from 5,300 nautical miles (6,100 mi, 9,800 km) on the -100 to 8,000 nmi (9,200 mi, 14,815 km) on the -8I.

But we all take flying in the 747 for granted. We do not question it will get up very high in just air.

Take diving in water for example. We know we can swim. We know we can only get so deep and will have to surface.

So when I fly airplanes, no big deal to me.

I hope you have a few things to think over.

This is the airplane make and model I flew from Hayward, CA around the area and back to Hayward.

It feels like I am showing you an old friend. We call this the Mooney 201 due to the fact it flies that fast. Mooney makes airplanes in TX.

    Where are Mooney aircraft made?
    Kerrville

Kerrville, Texas, U.S. The Mooney International Corporation (formerly Mooney Aviation Company, Inc. and the Mooney Aircraft Company) is an American aircraft manufacturer based in Kerrville, Texas, United States. It manufactures single-engined piston-powered general aviation aircraft.

I am a bit upset now with Google due to first locating the actual airplane but now denying it to me. Anyway these are very fast for the power they have.

Never flown a Mooney. Most of my flight time is in Piper's. Have a few hours in Cessna, but not many. Our local flight school just happens to mostly have pipers on its line. Just as well really. Spent a fair number of my childhood hours crammed into the back of a warrior so it was a natural transition to the front seat.
