You gotta love it when the other side gets dirt thrown back.

This accusation is from a female TV/Radio personality who says Franken harassed her.

"Leeann Tweeden, a model, sportscaster, and radio host, dropped a bombshell blog post on Thursday in which she accused Sen. Al Franken of ..."

Another thot looking for her 15 minutes of fame.

I don't play partisan politics on this issue. There's too many false accusations out there so now unfortunately women have to provide proof that any misconduct occurred or shut the hell up.

If the victim isn't a guy, I don't believe it

Normally I would agree, but it's Al Franken. Fits a common pattern.

I know this particular case had me pretty conflicted I won't lie.

But turns out there's video evidence so he's guilty as hell.

I demand his immediate resignation. Zero tolerance. This is a serious matter.

I hope there are no hypocrites demanding Moore withdraw but are ok with Franken.

If Franken actually sexually harassed this woman then he should resign; I'd like to hear what Franken has to say on the issue before pointing fingers. As they say in TV; let's go to the video!

I heard on the radio yesterday that there are two sitting senators who have committed sexual assault, one democrat one republican.

Al Franken may be the democrat one, but it wouldn't surprise me if there are more (on either party). Hope they all get exposed.

And yes, anyone who has sexually assaulted another person should not have a political career to begin with.

In real life, the average American violates three or four laws per day. Some are fairly minor, like going 47 mph in a 45 mph zone. Some are more serious. But if we eliminate everyone who has ever said or done something wrong, there will be no one left to work in either the government or the private sector.

Apparently Al is guilty of of really bad attempt at humor cloaked in real creepiness.

In the grand scheme of sexual harassment and rape claims this is fairly minor but Al...cmon man.
You're not an entertainer...you're a friggin Senator. You ought to know better

Apparently, there's more to this than "she said, he said." She posted a pic of Franken fondling her on the trip back from the USO tour, while she was sleeping. When dems start throwing mud, they have much more to lose than republicans do.

In response Franken said, "I certainly don’t remember the rehearsal for the skit in the same way, but I send my sincerest apologies to Leeann... As to the photo, it was clearly intended to be funny but wasn’t. I shouldn’t have done it."[57] Democratic senators Tammy Duckworth and Patricia Murray have both come out in support of an ethics committee investigation into the accusations.[58]

In other words, it's okay for molesters like Franken to say they are sorry, and still keep their jobs---just because they are progressive liberals.

You are so cautious with Fondling Franken, even when there is photo evidence of his sexual abuse. But for Roy Moore, where there is just here-say, you want to crucify him immediately.

LOL this is great, the "progressives" have been caught with their pants down, the progs threw a boomerang and it came back and hit them in the butt.

The picture is CLEARLY a (bad) joke.

The kiss on the other hand was completely inappropriate and Franken has apologized

Woman who accused Franken says she accepts his apology

The woman who accused Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) of sexual misconduct said Thursday she accepts his apology.

"The apology, sure I accept it, yes. People make mistakes and of course he knew he made a mistake," she said. "So yes I do accept that apology." She said it's up to Congress whether they want to have an ethics investigation into Franken's behavior.

"There's no reason why I shouldn't accept his apology," she said.

She said she wasn't "looking for anything" when she shared her story.

    Great.

I am sure that she is very happy that the accusation has fulfilled her attention-whoring need for media attention.

Obviously (except to RW PEDO-Defenders trying to deflect from the Moore Trainwreck) the story is much ado about nothing. :bored:
