Sometimes you just have to laugh at liberal desperation:

Ummmm.... Mr. Gore? Barack Obama's chickens are coming home to roost. He's been protected by the liberal media since he came on the national scene. Last night was the first time he was held to account for the totality of his failures.

High altitude? You must be high, Mr. Gore.

Maybe all the CO2 melting the Colorado glaciers clouded Obama's mind last night. Gore is an expert, let's not write him off.

I was thinking it was probably Columbian Gold bud that caused Obama's dismal performance. He acted buzzed.

LOL... thank god he couldn't even win his own home state. I wonder how much oxygen is on Planet Algore? I'm guessing not much.

Interesting. I didn't notice that, but certainly am in no position to discount your theory. Perhaps he took some sort of medication to take the edge off. I can't say I wouldn't at least consider it, though would probably rule it out in the end.

I'm beginning to think someone put a copy of the Constitution on Obama's podium, that would unnerve him sufficiently to explain his performance... Constantly looking down and frowning... Those are symptoms of shame...

I think the hopium withdrawals have been horrible, and not only for Obama.

Oh good grief...... talk about desperation - this is a classic example. What sometimes amazes me - not always, but sometimes is that idiots who make comments like this are to stupid and arrogant to realize how stupid they sound...

I was seriously expecting them to say he had a mild flu bug, and had taken some simple meds which unfortunately slowed him down.

    Gawd, what a beatdown.

Just like his presidency, nearly everything about Obama's performance last night sucked. Even his body language was terrible.

Oh I don't know, Al Gore has gotten me thinking. I've decided I'm going to ask my company to let me fly in the day before I fly in so the altitude doesn't blunt the abilities I need to have to get people into Denver. ;)

Al Gore's Altitude 'Excuse' for Obama's Poor Performance!

Having worked in the aerospace cabin pressure control industry and familiar with commercial aircraft, the typical "cabin of the aircraft is flown" at between 7500-8000 ft in altitude. This is done to maintain a certain amount of comfort as well as minimize the pressure across the aircraft skin at high altitude for safety. Prior to landing, a microprocessor controller adjusts the cabin pressure down to the landing altitude so the door may be opened.

Ergo, Obama lives a large portion of his life at an altitude of 7500--8000 ft as he flies across the US almost daily!!

However, following your explanation, it seems that President Obama benefits from "cabin pressure control" while he flies at high altitude. . .so what's your point?

Denver is at 5280 ft (mile high city), and Obama spends a large portion of his jet-set life at 7500-8000 ft while flying in AF1....what's not to understand??

He lives in DC at around Sea Level.....and speaks all around the nation at various altitudes, ALL the time!.......just a lame excuse!

The point is, he spends a lot of his life at an altitude, atmospheric pressure-wise, above 5,000 feet and is able to function on other occasions. In addition, that's never been an excuse for other presidents who also spent a lot of time at 8,000 feet of atmospheric pressure.

In other words, it's a silly excuse with no basis in fact.

I live in Colorado, where my living room is about 6,000 feet above sea level. We always laugh our asses off at "flat-landers" who act like as if being in Denver is like being on the Tibetan Plateau or something. What pathetic bull****!

We could argue back and forth about the physiological aspects of "high" altitude, but first, one question, please: WHY DIDN'T "HIGH" ALTITUDE HAVE A DEADENING, DULLING EFFECT ON OBAMA IN 2008 WHEN HIS SPECTACULAR ORATORY DURING THE DEMOCRAT CONVENTION IN DENVER WAS BRINGING THE HYPERLIB MASSES TO THE BRINK OF ORGASMIC NIRVANA?! He sure as hell didn't act like he needed an oxygen tank back then!

Hello? Earth to Hyperlibs... Earth to Hyperlibs... come in, Hyperlibs....

    Liberals are insane.

The meltdown they have had for the past 24 hours is just comedy gold.

Without a doubt it is. I cannot wait to see what Biden the great says during the debate. I can't wait for Ryan to smoke him.
