The Bidenistas are content to support corruption and laziness and incompetency. It has nothing to do with Trump. As you say, Trump did a heck of a lot of good for Americans.

Didn't say he should be punished. It is not up to m;e. I t is up to the law.........and the findings from the investigation.

We need to know more about the facts of the situation.....and how it actually happened.

As a rule leftists are hypocrites and its perhaps most evident in the imaginary land of Hollywood.

I would not be surprised to learn he owns guns and has armed security.

Sean Penn used to be routinely arrested for illegally carrying firearms.

When a man drinks and kills others, he gets blamed.
Baldwin is reported to despise guns and their owners. And he is not some god who can't be charged.
    Baldwin pulled the trigger.

I think being culturally enriched in prison might give him more insight vs the Hollywood bubble he lives in.

Hes also got a history of violence.

    3. There had already been multiple negligent discharges on his set, he was the co producer.

    4. Its looking like the crew were using live ammo to plink during downtime on the set.

A reasonable person would understand the potential danger in such a situation.

I haven’t read through the replies but let’s try to remember a life was lost and let’s remember how disgusted and repulsed we are by all of the ashli babbit grave dancing the left wing posters in here were and still are doing
Even though Baldwin is an anti gun nut and this is the most low hanging fruit I’ve seen in ages, let’s try not to stoop to the disgusting low levels of inhumanity that the left stoops to and let’s not disrespect the dead. We can rip on Baldwin but let’s do it with class please
    Thank you

Alec Baldwin is an interesting dude. Like the Donald he's a brash outspoken New Yorker. He has a tendency to want to beat the crap out of the paparazzi and other *******s who invade his personal space. He's not likely to get sucker punched on the sidewalk like Rick Moranis was. He shares a lot of personality characteristics in common with Trump. It's pitiful to see our friends here that never mention a bad word about their seditionist hero's poor behavior towards people trash Baldwin for his moments of personal failures. I suppose though that ragging on Baldwin about his prior statements about guns is pretty much fair game.

Sadly, in spite of his talent as an actor which is in no small measure due to his looks and charisma, he does seem to me to deserve a good measure of the s being thrown at him in this thread. He was not only an actor in the reportedly low budget flick, but also he had signed on as a producer. He's been in the business a pretty decent amount of time and he seems bright enough, so he has no excuse or mitigating circumstance to exempt himself for being part of the problem on that set that led to the union crew walking off the morning of the shooting. Makes me wonder if one of the New Mexican scabs set him up. However, I fully agree with the point made that any actor playing a role needing them to use a gun ought to be held accountable for their use of the gun. I'd damn well learn 1000% of requirements to personally check that there was no chance of me killing someone with a prop while making a movie. A low budget one at that, for which I was also a producer.

Oh well, I thought he had received karmic retribution enough when his daughter married Bieber, but enjoy it Trumpsters and pile on, for those so inclined mostly because he parodied your orange f'wit boss-man. For those few that are piling on him for the sheer stupidity of not being responsible enough to ensure that he knew enough and took the steps necessary to protect the safety of cast and crew: I agree that this may end up fundamentally being another example of a privileged rich guy getting away with murder. A guy in an industry that does in fact manufacture a huge amount of violent content and which is staffed with huge numbers of personnel who publicly advocate for sunshine and lollipops and love among all of their audiences. Whatever....

Condolences to Halyna Hutchins' friends and family. It appears that she may have ultimately been the victim of *gasp* Union violence, from the foregoing link:

Some think all of these wild theories can be blamed on simple minds. Personally, I blame the elites, because when you kill the guy that could possibly expose your sickening crimes against children, it's bound to spawn various rumors.

Being part of a scheduled scene at the time the firearm was discharged doesn't mean that the firearm wasn't on set for a that or some other legitimate purpose. It also doesn't mean it wasn't about to be used in a scene which would also explain why it was handed to Baldwin the the first place!

Also I'm neither defending or for that matter attacking Baldwin. He may or may not be culpable. What I am doing is trying to wave off all the self appointed armchair experts in this thread happily making categorical statements about who did what and when before the official investigation is even completed. So far at least it appears (and yes in cases like this initial appearances can be deceptive) that Baldwin's conduct is not the central focus of Police investigations. That may change, it might not. Point is the investigation is proceeding fairly quickly and we'll know soon enough the extent of all parties culpability.

As for gun safely 101? Cemeteries are full of people who either forgot the rules themselves or are the victims of someone else who did. And anyone, including you or me can have that one bad day because that's all it takes, one single moment of tiredness or over confidence etc. And its that 'one bad day' most people try to keep in mind when they're handling firearms. No-one wants to be the person who has that 'day' but every day somewhere, someone does.

One bad day can land you in jail. Obviously Baldwins negligence caused the death. If someone loaded the gun with live Ammo they too can be guilty but if even that was accidental the majority of responsibility still lies with Baldwin. Not that he will be charged with a crime, that will be determined later but he will certainly be subject to a civil case.

Generally speaking, people who commit heinous crimes such as rape, murder, child molestation are not "elite" but are rather low-functioning individuals.

Not really. The production had an official armourer on the crew. That person's ONLY job is to manage weaponry. The point of which is to release everyone else from that responsibility. So either she ****ed up to a degree that even I wouldn't do - and I know nothing of guns - or it was deliberate. Seems to me that if your only job is guns, the chances of you missing something like that are extremely remote. That would be like a doctor forgetting to do life-saving surgery, or a truck driver forgetting to use his brakes.

Why was Baldwin as producer allowing this to go on?

Except for the one about checking it's not loaded!

Oh, so you were there at the scene when it happened were you? Well obviously then it must be true, the facts are indisputable! You should contact local police immediately and offer your testimony because at the moment they don't seem to have reached that (or any other) conclusion. At least one they're willing to release to the public anyway.

Meanwhile if its OK by you I'll just sit back and wait for the authorities to release their findings before deciding its time to slip a noose over around someone neck - even if that person is from Hollywood. Its bad habit of mine, waiting to see the evidence before deciding if anyone is guilty. Old fashioned I know, but there it is.

Our ideas of justice are different I guess. I don't see how him being in jail would make anyone feel better. Besides, the victims father already said he doesn't blame Baldwin for what happened.
