Alec Baldwin kills one,inures another with Prop Gun on set.

Anyway my only real idea of how this could have happened is if they were filming close ups and he was pointing the gun right at someone who was just on the other side of the camera

 

The prop crew handles the gun. They maintain them and prepare them for the scene. Baldwin only pulled the trigger because that was his job in the scene. As much as I can’t stand the guy, I doubt it was his fault.

 

How do you shoot and kill the director of cinematography (not in the movie) and wound the director (not in the movie) if he pulled the trigger during a movie shot?
Unless someone loaded the gun with live ammo.

 

I'm telling you guys, odds are quite high that Alec Baldwin was goofing off in between filming scenes, and killed her doing something completely unrelated to actual filming of a scene in the movie, again because he's an idiot. The script almost certainly did not call for pointing the gun at the director, and I doubt there was any live ammo within a mile of the set.

 

It was a blank, but there was a round stuck in the barrel, and when the blank was fired, it shot the round out of the barrel (as your quote explains). In Baldwin case, there might have been a rock or something in the shotgun barrel (if it was a shotgun).

 

Given Baldwins idiotic past, I wouldn't be surprised at all.

I find it difficult for a professional actor to be confused about a deadly prop.

 

Baldwin cocked the gun so not following the basic rules handling guns is negligence.

Bear in mind that the gun that shot did kill a female. And injured another. But watch the medias keep your focus on the word prop. It will be the constant in all talking. Had this happened to Trump, they would not say prop, but focus on the word gun.

Apparently a prop gun is a real gun. Real guns kill humans. Real guns shoot bullets. Alec Baldwin is notoriously mean to others.

How could a professional Actor, decades of acting behind him, being notorious as being a mean man, accidently pull the trigger?
If Alec wanted her dead, he pulled the right trick to make it happen.

 

I have fired blanks when in the Army. They do not kill humans. Along with the fact this weapon also injured a man in the area.

How about waiting until details emerge. You know, - details about how the firearm was discharged, and if there was a rock, or something in the barrel.

Did he pull the trigger, or drop the gun, or something else. We don't know, but feel free to speculate.

You fired them without blank-firing adapter? Quote a few idiots are dead because they thought a blank can't kill them.

 

In the Army we were warned not to point the weapon with the blanks at other people. Blanks can still cause minor injuries. But death? No way. And bullets do not by magic show up in prop guns.
