BELLEVILLE, Ontario - Proctor & Gamble brand Always will remove the feminine Venus symbol from its menstruation products in an effort to be more "inclusive" to transgender customers, according to reports.

The move came after LGBTQ activists reminded the company on social media that not all of their customers are women, The Independent reported.

In response, the company said it would remove the symbol from its packaging by December.

"For over 35 years Always has championed girls and women, and we will continue to do so," the company said in a statement Tuesday, according to The Independent. "We're also committed to diversity & inclusion and are on a continual journey to understand the needs of all of our consumers.“

Company officials added that they realize not everyone who needs feminine hygiene products "identif[ies] as female."

So now we have retailers bowing down that black pumpkins are racist, and that feminine hygiene products need to be inclusive.

This has to be a joke, this is completely out of control.

It doesn't matter if you actual have a menstrual cycle now, the intent of the product, people that wish they did feel they need to be included.

Im waiting for a blowback to trannies once they start competing in women’s sports on the top level.
It looks like we are pretty close to that.

I think the Trojan condom dude in the gladiator helmet needs to go too. Where are the LGBTWTF activists to remind them "not all of their customers" are men???

I believe that it's already happened.

I remember recently seeing a thread about a "woman" who took 1st place in a woman's bicycling race but since bicycle racing is a little watched sport in the US, the limited blowback was simply justified resentment from "her" competitors.

It seems grossly unfair to have women athletes go through all the rigors of training for a women's sport and then make them compete against "women" who are biologically men.

I think the phrase 'women's health' should be banned because it doesn't apply to men. Besides, women live longer than men, they ultimately win everything.

I am sure all of the men that will ultimately be irate over this will have a tremendous impact on their bottom line!

Oh no! Without the female symbol, how will we know what they do and who they're for?

I predict that in every supermarket, there will be groups of people huddled in front of the menstruation products just staring blankly trying to figure out how to navigate this new scary world where the boxes don't have the female symbol on them.

    Oh the humanity!

If you can't see the deeper socio issue here, then you're part of the problem.

LGBTQ is going to be in for quite a shock when they read the usage instructions for the product. . .they are not very inclusive either.

so what? P&G can package their products anyway they want. This minute change will neither effect their stock price nor their dividend and that is what matters.

There is no deeper issue here. It's a meaningless symbol. We would have been fine if it had stayed just as we will be fine now that it's gone.

If it is a meaningless symbol. . .why would anyone complain about it? Why would anyone complain it makes the product non-inclusive if it has no meaning?
