Spoken like a true extremist! Maybe you were denied opportunities because you weren’t qualified for them but I bet you would be upset if you were denied opportunities just for being a white male over and over. Told you can’t even apply But I’m sure you can’t even identify with that because you’ve been privileged your whole life.

If you are unclear as to what I said go back to the post and read it.

    I think it's clear what I said.

Depends on how many black people apply.

    Anger over what?
No idea how thinking people should be treated equal is prejudiced. But we are living in clown world.
You by supporting affirmative action are saying women and blacks are inferior. They need a handicap they can't do it without that. I don't think that low of women or black people.

This is the mind of somebody who just oversimplifies. Like everybody is treated equal. No you are the one living in a clown world. I taught in inner-city Brooklyn which had about half the books and computers etc. that other schools had. Years ago while other schools had copy machines, we didn’t....less money was spent on them
You don’t understand the concept of leveling the playing field. Women and blacks are coming from the back of the pack, like starting a race five minutes after the front. Your problem is that you see blacks and women who add to diversity as somehow being intellectually inferior. And you don’t even realize that your attitude Permeates and perpetuates bigotry. But you were OK with it when it was white males. You just don’t get it..th fact that you don’t think discrimination has lasting effects is your world, not mine...And you obviously do you think low of women and black people if you believe that they are not capable of achieving once they are admitted. I wonder if you feel the same way many people who see gay people as perverts and they shouldn’t be given equal rights.

    anybody can apply.
Every opportunity that is granted to a woman or a racial minority because of them being a woman or a racial minority is an opportunity denied to someone who has merit.

People should get opportunities based on merit not race.

Any vengeance you see only exists in your mind.

Any vengeance you see is your internal anger because you have to share opportunities .I don’t know why you use that word when it is so irrelevant here but I guess you’re just projecting your anger
And your own line is so telling when you say that woman or a minority is denying someone “WHO HAS MERIT”.Of course a woman and a black person can’t have merit. Shame on you

    Equality is clown world?
you don't level it by making it unlevel.

Sorry, I don't think women and blacks are inferior. I don't share your prejudice.
They are. They didn't have to work as hard as somebody that doesn't get an easier ride because of affirmative action.

    Your bigotry made them inferior.

I'm not the one saying they are too inferior to compete in a level playing field. You are.
just because two wrongs don't make a right doesn't mean I was okay with it.

Because you keep talking about how way back when.

If a woman it a black person is selected based on affirmative action stipulations they were selected because of what they are, any person born black or female that applied would have the exact same merit. So being born as what you are isn't an accomplishment.

You can cast shame on me all you want. I don't feel ashamed of speaking the truth.

You are speaking your truth. Truth based on only today while ignoring history .You still don’t answer the question. Are all those men who didn’t have to compete with half the population years ago inferior? Just because of their birthright? But you have a nice simplistic answer which is two wrongs don’t make a right. But you have to correct the wrongs when one group had all the privileges and passed them on till today.

Truth is singular, there is no my truth or your truth. If your truth differs from reality those are misconceptions.

Forgive me I never saw you ask that question directly. Yes people that got a head based on their race and the 1940s we're inferior to people who got where they were based on merit alone.

Take for instance nepotism. If you work for somebody who promoted their son or daughter based on the fact that they were their son or daughter and not the fact that they can do the job they are inferior.

That's why there is a such thing as Rich daddy syndrome.

You don't correct the wrongs by oversteering.

The only way to make people equal is to treat them equal no other way will work.

He very clearly stated that he was referring to AA positions .. where entry was granted on the strength of identity, not merit. You know that's what he was saying, so why bother with the bumph? Shame on you.

And yes, every time someone is given a place without meeting the merit criteria, a person who meets the merit criteria misses out. The ONLY fair and 100% non-racist system is merit. It does not exclude anyone.

They were corrected when institutional racism/sexism was abolished, last century. There is nothing more ANY govt can do.

But that’s the reason for affirmative action! They are not treated equally and they haven’t been for generations. Do you think racism just disappears it because it becomes illegal? It will take several generations. Nepotism is still alive and well, look in the White House. Poor black people don’t have rich daddy syndrome

Sounds good, why can’t we all just get along? So simple and lacking so much insight into reality. All those hate groups that are growing all over the country haven’t gotten the good news yet that everybody is equal

    INSTITUTIONAL racism is long gone.

NO govt can do a thing about individual 'racism'. Witness the rise in white supramicism this century ... and it's coming from the very people who fought institutional racism last century, no less. The very people who once claimed to regard black folk as equals, now insist on black helplessness. The truth comes out.

The 'hate' is now expressed via supremacist paternalism, paraded as moral vigor.

    We can see you

Continuing not to treat them equally continues inequality.
I doubt racism will ever disappear I'm not sure what that has to do with the price of tea in China.

treating them Inequally will never result in equality.

I may be lacking insight. Show me how treating people unequal results in them being equal. I'm all ears.

    Hate groups control the state?

Perfect example right here.. an extremist used to be someone in a white mask burning a cross on a black persons yard.

Now to be an extremist all you have to do is disagree with a minority.

This is almost comical you are saying that the white supremacists were the supporters of racial equality?you Have to be kidding I hope you are
It’s amazing how some people don’t understand that because segregation became illegal the bigotry just disappeared. What is black helplessness? Is that what you think about black people?
