Go spend some time in a third-world shithole and see if you aren't GLAD that we put our own United States of America FIRST before others!

But, if like so many Leftists who hate this country, you decide you like the 'shithole' better, then STAY THERE!

I think the correct syntax, which is beyond Good ole' Joe's comprehension is 'back of the line.'

Your Post #149 reads: "America first is a terrible template for America if you scratch past the surface and realize how we have set up teh post war world to benefit us first and sure as hell has, for 75 years."

In your post above, you accuse me of "ignorance", and state that "We always have and always will put America first." Then, mysteriously, you further state, "That is not the same as having a doctrine of America first which advocates abandonment of all activities that make America great, that put America first."

Now. What exactly are "all activities" that we have 'abandoned" which "make America great, that put America first"...?

You seem to be completely at odds with your own viewpoint(s), and all within one short post! You excoriate "America first" as a "terrible template for America" -- then --you seem to profess approval (?) for the concept that "We always have and always will put America first."

Whether you think me 'ignorant' or not is of no real interest to me... indeed, I've been to enough 'shithole' countries spanning about 3/4th of the world to know them when I see them, and understand what made them that way! Believe me, the first time you find yourself in a foreign city with raw sewage and blood running down the street, there will be little left to imagine about whether you're in a 'shithole' or not....

But, rather than go any further down that 'rabbit-hole', please tell us exactly what you are trying to SAY. Re-read your post and see if, as written, it really makes any sense at all....

I asked you, point blank, "What exactly are "all activities" that we have 'abandoned" which "make America great, that put America first"...?" And you replied with NOTHING, except some sort of a vague suggestion that I should be able to read your mind....

It's a busy day, "mentor", and I've already spent all the time I can afford this morning on 'NOTHING'... so, run along and have nice day, or whatever it is that you have....

What made America great was exactly the opposite. You know nothing about our history.

You have an obligation to your country to be aware. I am not here to tutor you on fundamentals.
If you choose to be ignorant, that is on you.

Most of my 'ignorance' was schooled out of me fairly early in life. Had I made conflicting, odd claims about things, and didn't even bother to explain myself, my peers (to say nothing of my teachers) would have justifiably subjected me to sneering derision... but that was long ago, when most of the population actually did have the ability to employ critical, analytical thinking, and, to be able to express themselves amply, with at least some semblance of concept and detail....

But we see now that your own inability to answer a very simple question is somehow my fault because I'm not a mind reader...? You contradicted yourself at least twice, and don't even see it. You must have a very difficult time in life if you approach everything else the same way.

As my best teacher once told me, "Just do the best you can -- it won't be too good!" And I'm still trying to live up to that....

Does that mean we have to go back to bombing and invading and destabilizing third world nations?

    That hardly seems worthwhile.

You have an obligation to substantiate your own claims.

If you can't substantiate your own claims, that's on you.

It means going back to handing Putin little plastic reset buttons that say "INVADE UKRAINE" on them, playing golf while jihadists saw the heads off American journalists, turning the Maghreb into Afghanistan on the Med, drawing red lines in the sand for pissants like Bashar al-Assad to cross with impunity, giving blowjobs to the "Death to America!" crowd in Tehran, begging the ChiComms to be nice to us, writing bad trade deals...

Lest anyone has forgotten, Joe Biden was Barack Obama's foreign policy "expert"...

. . . Marxists have repeatedly condemned globalism. Meanwhile, capitalism and globalism have gone hand-in-hand since . . . well, since capitalism has been a thing. That was the whole point of Wealth of Nations. Try reading it. Or at least skim the Cliff Notes. But keep pushing bull **** if that's what you need to do.

He suggested taking bleach internally, as anyone even vaguely capable of reading comprehension can see. His later excuse is that he was joking, which is additional bull ****.

Too bad for you, Joe. If your education was really SO neglected that you can't see how we Americans did everything we could for our own ultimate advantage from about the end of the Civil War, right through the end of the 20th-century (roughly, that period during which America "was great") then I don't know what I could possibly say to convince you.

I'll try one suggestion -- Who won World War II? That ALONE secured our prosperous, undisputed BEST lifestyle right up to about "9/11". And, almost like some kind of Al-Qaeda 'curse' that came true, nearly everything that has happened to us since 9/11 has just propelled us downward into the pile of sh!t we're turning into TODAY....

The last "W" Bush term in office surrendered the entire economy to the Federal Reserve System!

Both Obama terms weakened this country terribly, and further entrenched the "Fed" central bank as overlords in our economy!

Trump saved the Supreme Court from becoming a total cesspool of anti-constitutional liberalism, but he worked with the "Fed" to turn our economy into a gigantic "casino game" full of horribly overvalued stock market listings, along with tax reductions for the already-rich, and, together, this resulted in a current national debt-to-GDP ratio of 107%.

. . . Trump explicitly defended Putin's invasion of Ukraine . . . and played softball (and bragged about doing so) when Saudis dismembered an American journalist, excusing it by saying he was just a green card holder and not a citizen yet. Remember?

Yeah, Geriatric Joe and John Kerry were quite the 'dynamic-duo'.

The biggest difference I could see between the two of them was that Kerry already was a multi-millionaire, many times over. There's no indication that he used his position as Obama's stooge to 'shake down' the Iranians.

Ol' Joe, however, wanted to nurture the, uh, "Biden family fortunes" ever more -- and, with Hunter's help, the "Big Guy" surely did!

One of these days, if ol' Joe makes the mistake of pissing off Xi Jinping very much, we all may be treated to, uh, new revelations of the extent to which the Biden family really did improve itself during Hunter's 'glory days' abroad by being Joe's 'kid'....

I would love to know what the hell he means with "all activities" as well. You are correct it's really hard to make sense of that post and several others with vague over the top statements that don't mean anything.

Not when it's a "busy" exercise used by another poster to escape their poorly considered post.

Lincoln made America great, Reagan made America great, Trump made America great. Obama apologized for great America, sleepy Joe will cancel American greatness.
