    The SCTOUS does allow states to violate the First Amendment. Otherwise, well:

    It would be beyond words of sick. And sickos would quote the constitution like the bible, saying things like America is the land of the free pedophiles.

    So don't dis other countries just cause they've updated to Windows 10 from 98 already. That's being deliberately stupid.

    Even those lefties that said they were leaving America after Trump won, appear to still like America the best-they wont leave.

    Not once, but twice the U.S. saved Europe from slavery! We paid to rebuild Europe after WWII. The depend on U.S. military strength to protect their freedom and liberty. In the annals of human history, there has never been a more prosperous, generous country as the U.S.! No other country has made as many medical, scientific, or industrial discoveries than the U.S. Look at current events, among the first to arrive in Thailand, with resources and aid, was 35 U,S, Air Force personnel! No other country had done, or could do as much for the rest of the world than the United States! I think we exist because we were meant to be an exceptional country! Am I a proud American and military veteran? Damn right I am!

    Maybe War on Drugs is difficult to conduct correctly, but dangerous substances that cost tens of thousands of lives per year in USA alone should not be available.

    This is an episode of dumb and dumber. America is good in many ways. It is also bad in many ways. Our healthcare system is middle of the road. Our debt is becoming a serious problem. Individual liberty is being trampled on - far more than in other nations. We have more people in prison than any other nation as a percentage of our population. We are moving ever closer towards becoming a quazi totalitarian police state. Our standard of living is mediocre at best - we have the second highest rate of poverty among rich countries.

    The problem I have is this desire to stand around saying "were the best" as an excuse to ignoring our crumbling infrastructure massive crime rate and the various other problems mentioned about.

    It is not like we are Zimbabwe or Venezuela .... but this is not a high bar and is no excuse to stand on a soapbox twirling around crying "we are the best" as an excuse for ignoring serious issues.

    Note that all the countries that are better than the U.S. are either former British colonies (settled by Europeans) or in Western Europe.

    The only two exceptions are Japan and possibly Singapore.

    Also a few Arab countries with relatively small populations and lots of oil money. (But even in Saudi Arabia half the population are foreign nationals who are very poor and treated very bad)

    Singapore is only the size of a small city, its population is mostly ethnic Chinese, and the quality of life for a large part of the population there is not really so good because of the high cost of living and high population density.

    Western Europe has taken in a large amount of immigration over the last 25 years and the quality of life is headed downwards. (several other threads here on that)

    You elected Trump

    A candidate so toxic that the only equivalents can be found in third world countries

    He would not even be allowed to run in a local election here because of his history of bankruptcies
    i would not have classified it as a world war and although it stopped with the dissolution of the USSR that was not an American "win"

    Some would argue that Russia has continued that war and is still waging it albeit through cyberspace

    I was stationed in Germany for 5 years...gas is cheaper and not rationed in the US. Auto insurance is based on your driving record, not motor size. Taxes are much lower in the US. I could go on, but you get the drift.

    I didn't make any critical analysis of it, but I wouldn't just dismiss it as "Hilarious".

    Maybe you want Roe v Wade overturned or something?
