Here's an additional clarification of Gen. Clark's statement that Americans are expected to die for Israel.

I somehow doubt if Clark would be so sanguine if his own son were told to prepare to die for the Jewish state. And I have to wonder if the good general has considered Article 2 of the Constitution about declaring war, the 1973 War Powers Act, and the issue of national sovereignty itself in allowing another country to declare war for you."CONTINUED

Actually I'm what you would call staunchly right wing and I don't believe this BS.

 

Of course not.

With the declassification of tapes(1) proving that Israel knew that they were massacring Americans, only the disloyal "Israel First" crowd, the hopelessly gullible and the professionally deceived cling to the debunked "accident" myth that has plagued the Liberty crew survivors for decades.

Not only have these men been betrayed, silenced & scorned by their own government, they've even received threats at home to be quiet about Israel's deliberate betrayal of America & attempt to leave no survivors of the 294 member crew.

Only those familiar with the horrors they experienced & subsequent abandonment by their government can empathize with them or appreciate the need for closure that a complete & honest investigation would bring to exonerate them.

The transcript published by the Jerusalem Post bore scant resemblance to the one that in 1967 rolled off the teletype machine behind the sealed vault door at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, where Steve Forslund worked as an intelligence analyst for the 544th Air Reconnaissance Technical Wing, then the highest-level strategic planning office in the Air Force.

"The ground control station stated that the target was American and for the aircraft to confirm it," Forslund recalled. "The aircraft did confirm the identity of the target as American, by the American flag.

"The ground control station ordered the aircraft to attack and sink the target and ensure they left no survivors."

Forslund said he clearly recalled "the obvious frustration of the controller over the inability of the pilots to sink the target quickly and completely."

"He kept insisting the mission had to sink the target, and was frustrated with the pilots' responses that it didn't sink."

Nor, Forslund said, was he the only member of his unit to have read the transcripts. "Everybody saw these," said Forslund, now retired after 26 years in the military.

Forslund's recollections are supported by those of two other Air Force intelligence specialists, working in widely separate locations, who say they also saw the transcripts of the attacking Israeli pilots' communications."CONTINUED

 

Any actual evidence besides "someone said they talked to someone who said they had seen these transcripts"?

Thought not.

 

I have seen enough misinformation and misleading information that I doubt the whole thing. For sometime, I was neutral. This bit on General Clark convinced me. He would have been relieved of his command if he made a statement about the US military dying for the Jewish state.
