    snip

The average American has lost more than $4,000 in annual income since President Biden took office due to soaring inflation and higher interest rates thus wiping out income gains under the previous administration, according to data compiled by the Heritage Foundation.

Experts at the conservative think tank analyzed consumer prices data and the Federal Reserve’s interest rates and found in a Friday report that Americans have lost the equivalent of $4,200 of income per capita since January 20, 2021.

    end snip

For those who did not vote Democrat, this comes as no surprise. It is sad to see what full Democrat control has done to the avg folk.

Didn't Trump create the smallest GDP gain of any president?
So what "Trump heritage" are you even talking about as if it's total joy? lol

Nothing Trump did economically, was memorable... except lend money to give to the needy rich whose companies were having a bad time. He handled the pandemic by mostly ignoring it and pushing fake news as in hydroxychloroquine. And so on.

The people voted for the obvious better candidate.
Nothing even shows that Trump currently has a better plan.
He is even swamped by his own problems about jan 6th and top secret documents.
    Get over it.

Well, it's not due to "Democrat control". But more importantly, I would be happy to sacrifice $4,200/year to have and keep Trump out of office.

And that is why there's the irrational push to try and replace our common electric grid with the new toys. Liberal minded folks don't advance policy based on what makes sense, but based on what they'd like to see. Well sometimes the world isn't fine tuned with the vision.

The only way progress has ever been achieved is by working towards what we would like to see in the world.

I doubt regressives that strive for some fantasy prior point in time when America was “great” would comprehend this.

What Trump did for the economy, was taking over a machine that was already working. He than lowered taxes and gave away massive amounts of money to Wallstreet, believing that they would reinvest massively in the US economy getting more people employed, earning more, paying more taxes. But it hardly happened. The money was tunneled to the lucky 1% who just put it on their bankaccounts. The companies were drained dry financially, and so at the first glance of a setback, they just massively were need on an enormous amounts of aid. So when Covid hit, Trump had to borrow even more.

So now the US is stuck with the utterly insane debt increase of 36% thanks to Trump!!!
And the bill is being presented.

And it's not as if Trump published a sound plan how to fix this.
So the obvious best pick was the guy who was 2nd in command of that machine that was previously working.

This is a misconception. Progress is achieved by developing what is already there to a different, higher level of being. We don't stay at zero, evolution is a constant. It is not a philosophy, it is an iron clad reality. Furthermore, it can be argued that evolution or growth can't be sustained without a sustainable base. Our bones must be strong and sturdy to withstand the growth spurt. Weakened bone structure is a part of many fatal and lethal diseases.

We need a strong and sturdy structure in order to survive. Without a basis for the idea, the idea cannot form much less come to completion. Modern day 'progressivism' takes a cult-like view of progress, distorts its actual meaning and doesn't actually progress anything.

My personal favorite is the "right side of history" quip. I shouldn't have to explain how absolutely nonsensical this statement is, but we do have to go over it. "History", especially in the context that Liberals use it refers to an event, often one in which the so-called clear and right decision should have been made, but wasn't made. Or at least, wasn't made by enough people. But the only reason this statement can be made is because we live in a world where people decided to make that decision and it is 'arguably' for the better.

(arguably, because something enforced by society or by the force of authoritative law cannot be refuted, much less overturned or debated.) And hence, we call it 'right' because we have no choice. Even if we think it's wrong, it doesn't matter. But the real main overarching point is that the "right side of history" ignores that the players made their decisions in their present time. There was no right or wrong side of history to be made. It's the old saying "history is written by the victors", only Modern progressives have made even more of a mockery of historic events by trying to tie some modernism that doesn't exist.

We live here, today. Our actions affect the here and now. We are not about to make some decision that is on the right or wrong side of 'history'. Such a flimsy concept, if it's held in further generations will be for those generations to judge but we as individuals are ruled by the present. Not the past, and not the future.

WoW!!! Screw a large portion of our society to satisfy your hate for bad orange man! That is as evil as one can get. People who are on fixed income are literally getting to a point where they can't afford to make ends meet...

Destroying the low income to satisfy your hate and disdain for orange man bad. Duly noted. Pub's merely need to run on this diatribe and show how emphatically low esteem for the poor and fixed income the left has . "Yeah, we are screwing fixed and low income people, but hey, it's okay. We no longer have mean tweets... Am I right?"

Let’s talk about these MAGA hat wearers, who are the biggest threat to this country, bigger than ISIS.

That will be the media and Democrats talking point until midterm. If polls continue to slide for them, I wouldn’t be shock if they plant a white shooter going on a shooting spree with the DOJ’s blessing.

Good! Why should the rest of America subsidize your high state and local taxes on our federal returns? If you and those around you voted to have more services than my state or local area provides, what makes you think you have the right to get us to help you pay for you to have what we decided not to buy for ourselves?

You mean like when the pandemic hit?
During Trump's administration DJIA averaged over 11% gain compounded annually. He added more jobs after the peak of the pandemic in nine months that Biden has done in his entire term.
Someone has been lying to you.
But the Dem machine created more votes for Biden.
    [quote-notme]
Nothing even shows that Trump currently has a better plan.[/quote] And Biden's plan is to throw trillions at every idiotic plan.
Yeah, you guys keep trying because he scares you poop-less.

~ I believe Democrats do not care what the citizens of America want — they only care about obtaining more authority and strength. Fortunately it does appear more are paying attention and seeing the facts.

    It was:
    2017: +2.3%
    2018: +3%
    2019: +2.2%
    2020: -3.7%

So even when you never mind 2020.... It's still all utterly mediocre at best.
And he did that while inheriting a well oiled machine + borrowing massive amounts of money.

Without the massive amounts of borrowed money, it all would be just crap.
    He blew it.

As noted. Trump's economic plan was lending money to give away to Wallstreet. So of course the stocks went up. People wanted free money. With that he increased the debt of the US by like 17%. And he added an equal amount to deal with covid when the companies were leached dry from all the handouts to stockowners and upper management while the value of Wallstreet was gone. All what remained was the massive debt. Well done Trump!

Obama and Biden set a pace of lowering unemployment from 10% to like 5%.
And all Trump managed to do, was following that pace but he needed to borrow money by the billions to do that,
That was before the pandemic. He left office with more people unemployed vs when he took over the office.
Don't go fake news on me.

sure sure. Go file a lawsuit for losing the elections at the Trump controlled supreme court, oh why don't you.

Not as scared as the cops defending the Capitol on jan the 6th from Trump supporters trying to install fascism.
