LOL, opposition to Obama’s policies = hate. Liberal logic 101. Evidence? All the rioting by Tea Party members?
Agreed. Unfortunately, too many colleges are just extensions of High Schools with no adults in charge. You are correct that it doesn't prepare them for the real world and the shock of transition may explain why many go back home to live with Mom and Dad. http://www.pewsocialtrends.org/2016...r-living-arrangements-for-18-to-34-year-olds/
That's not proof that nearly have the country is intolerant. It's proof that people will react to hate speech, which in this case was levied by a college professor. It sucks they went that far, but that dude is over the top with his hate of anything white. Not a great example to provide when one only need point to Berkley and other liberal campuses with safe spaces and rejection of anything conservative.
Pretty sure they have Trump Disgust Syndrome and it is far from a Left Wing sickness. This is a terribly contagious and painful Dis-Ease.
Gladly - here is a re post of a link previously shown by me re this topic: https://www.google.com/search?q=tea.....69i57j0l5.4054j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 Want more, I'll gladly present it again.
When a right winger is silenced at a college forum right wingers immediately claim this is happening all over the USA and that it is a symptom of left wing evil. Naturally when the tables are turned they go silent or get defensive.
When people cannot defend their position based on fact and reason, they tend to resort to ad homs and insult and the cognitive dissonance makes them angry. You see it in virtually every thread.
One can see the obvious difference when each side is angered. The right has done little in the way of destruction in comparison to the always-angered left. We've seen incidents on both sides, but leftist initiatives become major movements that destroy and spread hate for long periods of time. It is very easy to spur leftists to action in a way that is violent and very dangerous for opposers.
In today's climate, that would amount to a nation of vigilantes. Unnecessary and inappropriate killing would be far worse against an untrained populace attempting to police itself. Even if it worked hundreds of years ago, the level of control needed for populations this large is significantly higher than during those times. Law and order are not appropriate to be conducted and ruled among the common citizen. Otherwise they would not have established a court system. Even localities had smaller court systems to administer punishments.
Alternately, people should be able to elect/appoint their own sheriffs and deputies as they do in smaller towns. An elected constabulary is answerable to the populace unlike police who often are hired thugs who menace society, exploit it for their own selfish profit, engage in drugs sales/control, and take bribes from organized crime to further their unjust financial gain, and who often engage in selective enforcement of the law.
True, and most counties I know of have a sheriff's department with an elected sheriff. In my area, that's all we have. There is no city police force separate from the sheriff. I don't see those police forces as somehow different from a sheriff's department and I think the cases of police acting unjustly are individual problems rather than all encompassing. I'm sure it happens more as departments get larger due to the size of the populace they police, but I wouldn't be comfortable making broad assumptions that all are bad. That hasn't been my experience.
Agreed, but as we've seen in Charlottesville, violence from the far right is increasing and will continue to do so until it reaches a tipping point. The far Left will try to match. In the end, it will be those in the middle who will demand our government stop both.
You guys are such hypocrites it's ridiculous. Pisses everyone off. Tattle telling to mods. You know how you guys are .
Happy New Year to all the angry and the hostile.. I started my New Year with 2 more people on my ignore list
