That's a great move to keep the economy at the forefront. I'd guess a helluva lot more average Americans care a helluva lot more about the economy than they do about political stunts and partisan BS.

Hang on...holding the American people hostage to get what he wants. Hmmm...that sounds familiar. Didn't we have a shut down just a few months ago under similar circumstances?

In this case, Trump is refusing to do business for the American people for personal reasons - and has admitted that. Will be interesting to watch the walk back from this one!

The Democrats are holding the country hostage because they can't get over the fact they lost an election and then their "just wait for the Mueller report" turned up nothing. And now on the morning of a critical meeting on infrastructure she conducts an impeachment conclave and then leaving that meeting to go to the one with the President walks up to the cameras and on national TV proclaims the President is a criminal. The gall of that women.

In these two years, what has this Congress done? What have WE as a Nation done? We've used Trump as a glorified pinata. If Trump did behave exactly according to the letter of what most Presidents do, we'd blame him for something else too. Trump's taxes could be released, it may end up being nothing and that still won't satisfy anybody.

I don't blame Trump for being upset, given this is what Washington has become. I would've been like "They have all the evidence they need to impeach. If they're going to do it, do it."

Lets just say they aren't to be trusted.

They don't have America's best interests in mind.

You know what I thought about with the events of this AM? I cannot find a short video link, so I'll have to settle for just posting this great line from Dumb and Dumber... you know the scene??

Lloyd: I got robbed by a sweet old lady on a motorized cart. I didn't even see it comin'!

Cities are junior governments wholly creatures of state governments. In case you haven't noticed, Republicans control most states. If cities are screwed up, why aren't Republican state governments straightening them out?

Guess you don't know how government works. Typical Trump supporter.

Maybe, but these inquiries into Trump’s allegedly shady financial dealings and obstruction of justice will continue. Congress will continue to petition the courts to get the information they seek and the courts will no doubt keep ruling to give them access to it.

Having lived through and having closely followed the Watergate affair, I can see several similarities. I do not think this will end well for Trump or his enablers in the Senate or the House. At any rate, we will find out in the next year or so how it all shakes out.

It will serve as a good lesson for our young people who are not being taught civics anymore in school how our government and our constitution really works. Both the Watergate investigation and the Whitewater investigation served as great learning tools. This one should be interesting to say the least.

My prediction is that the Dems in congress will continue to try to uncover dirt on Trump at least until the end of the year unless they find some kind of smoking gun which will compel even Republicans to start jumping ship like they finally did with Nixon. The GOP did the same to Clinton leading up to the last election and it helped bring her numbers down, probably costing her the election. That’s politics post Watergate.

I seriously doubt that Barr, Horowitz or Devin Nunez will find any compelling evidence that will get anyone to indict Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Page, Ohr, Clinton, Lynch, Holder, Clapper or anyone else. My take is that is just a distraction designed to take peoples eyes off of Trump and his sleaziod cronies and give helpless Trump dupes something to feel good about as he implodes.

However, if I am wrong and Horowitz and Barr start arresting people, I will freely admit that I was wrong. I seriously doubt it though. I bet $500 at 9-1 early last year that Trump would be impeached by the house in the year 2019 so I kind of hope he gets impeached before the end of the year. $4500. The odds are down to 3-1 now.

He's built many properties across the world for a long time.

He's got the home court advantage.

What site? I'm rooting for ya, buddy... that's a good chunk of change... With the morons' tariffs, you might be able to buy a new washing machine for that by the end of the year....

That's just straight House impeachment and NOT removal from office, right??

Nadler and Nancy had better get moving, but it could happen fast when they do...

He really ramped up the infrastructure of Atlantic City. Built three failing casinos and left town owning billions. Maybe he can do the same for America.

The Dems showed up with a detailed 38 page infrastructure proposal. Trump stomped off like a little sissy and went to his rose garden to throw a hissy fit. Not very manly if you ask me.

Just impeachment, you can still get 20-1 on removal or forced to resign. Paddy Power in Dublin. If Trump keeps up the Nixon act the house might impeach. Still got 7 months to go and Trump’s position keeps deteriorating daily. The crap about Comey, Lynch, Holder or any of the other guys these Hannitized whackos are still counting on are not even on the board. I wonder why?

Unlike trump the dems are capable of walking and chewing gum at the same time. Obama never stopped working with congress even with 20 Benghazi hearings
