What happened to the [Cancel] button?

Am I missing something and is there some way to cancel a post?

For me I've found that the quoted images and video get resized smaller in the quote.
Edit: That's not a complaint but just an observation. I like it.

As of about 4PM today, I started getting duplicate emails, both sent at exactly the same time with the same exact content.

Is there any way to resize pics (especially to make them smaller)?

Actually, as far as I'm concerned, it is - or was - the best of the new features by far.

Why wouldn't the length of the post have the same effect all by itself?

    Oh, the humanity.

Swell, now you've got at least two votes for fixing what you fixed.

And wowser, just look at all those smilies. This platform just keeps on giving!

(I say 'platform' because I don't know the correct name - a platform to me is someplace where you board trains. :blankstare: And blankstare's back too. Can it possibly get any better? [IMG]

You have to go into your settings and uncheck the box that says "receive notifications for new posts" or something like that. I can't remember exactly what it says.

Go into settings and go to contact info, and there you will find an option that allows you to either receive or not receive email notifications of posts.

@Dark Star, it's good that you are playing around with the program, adding things and changing things because that only helps you learn this system better. :) Good job with the smileys too!

Please note the word "DUPLICATE" in my post.

I'm OK with getting email notifications. I don't need DUPLICATE emails.

Ooooooh, a wiseguy, huh? <poke to the eyes>

Not that my post was long enough to make the joke really work, but it's the thought that counts. Or so I've heard tell.

Is it possible to change the color of the background to more shady? Maybe blue one? White is a bit too bright.

I second this idea. A blue background would be a HUGE improvement. Especially for those of us who often read the threads at night.

I've added a medium blue background to all of my word processing applications. It makes it so much easier to work for long periods of time.

Is there a site where I can learn this software? If not, I have some questions.

    1. How do I get emailed when someone replies to one of my posts?
    2. How can I make the order of posts so the most recent ones are at the
    beginning of the site?

Green is the most compatible color to the human eye.

Oh no, not a green or blue background. Those are neon colors.

Well, you can look at the text in front of you to see the difference immediately. The black text on either blue or green is MUCH easier on the eyes than is black text on a white background. It's painful to read anything with a bright white background on a computer screen for more than a few minutes.

Maybe green. I said blue because the old forum was blue, as far as I remember. But I don't like this white anyway.

Yeah, I think the green background is better, too. Look at our posts and you can compare the different backgrounds, right now. The white background is awful for reading onscreen.

Wait are we talking about the outer background or the post color?

I don't have that problem. I changed my monitor settings to a custom RGB color long ago to reduce the blue color output so I could get to sleep better at night.

    Custom Color
    R 82%
    G 75%
    B 66%
