    yes, the role of the Grand Mufti in first inciting the arab riots in the twenties to his unbridled support for the nazis (the enemy of my enemy and all that) to his role in the Jew/Arab civil war that morphed into al naqba might be rather eye opening to those unfamiliar with the history of the conflict.

    As to Mizrahi jews sharing genetic markers with arabs of the region, this should not be surprising to anyone. Sharing land and language for a couple few thousand years will tend to yield such genetic results. As to who came first, the hebrews, the mizrahi or the pagan arabs its of academic interest only with no real bearing on the realities of today,.
