Anti Vaxers, what the hecks wrong with these Parents

We just has a recent Measles outbreak and almost all the people who got this diseases had not been inoculated and then there are the stories of Parents not getting their kids the Flu shot, they're probably against the Polio vaccine also. Amazing that in this day of modern medicine, Parents play russian roulette with their childrens lives against diseases that can kill them.

It is equally amazing that people put trust in pharmaceutical companies who have been guilty knowingly poisoning people for profit.
Anyone who believes that the pharmaceutical companies who are owned by chemical companies, and who's business is pumping people full of chemicals, is out for the public good is a complete idiot. Hey, go use some Round Up... its good for you!

You get the vegan types, and then there are illegals who come here vaccinated.

And to make it worse, the states population is clustered only around a few areas.

 

While I am pro-vaccination, wouldn't those that are affected by an outbreak only be those that are anti-vac? I guess if they want to take the risk....

Personally, I think this country is over medicated. As I said, I think vaccination is important, but I can see why some people would be opposed.....especially the conspiracy theorists and those that believed in naturopathic medicine.

Not really. It also affects people that are immunocomprimised,and the small percentage of people for whom a vaccine didn't work. There's also the herd immunity issue. It's not a victimless crime.

 

Vaccination inoculates you to that particular strain but increases your vulnerability to other strains.

So a population not inoculated will have a greater survival rate than those with vaccinations overall.

And guess how hypocritical it is for those who say a woman should have the right to her own body to turn around and tell someone else they have to have something injected into their body against their will?

Vaccines aren't just completely innocuous substances, they contain pieces of (hopefully) deactivated diseases that are there to illicit an immune response.
In some cases this immune response could have unforeseen long-term consequences in children, since their bodies are still developing at that age.

 

Except science.

A vaccination puts you in something of a bubble, it keeps you completely pure from that disease, your body is never even exposed to it because it relies on the vaccination so it basically pays no attention to it because it doesn't have to.

You introduce another strain that the vaccination isn't made for your body doesn't know the difference and doesn't fight it because it's not supposed to.

Those exposed to a disease, like measles, if they survive, will have built up a tolerance to it and all other strains that may develop.

Not saying it isn't a gamble but that is the science.

Difference is that not getting vaccinated affects other people, and an abortion affects the equivalent of your finger nails. The second part is like talking about the danger of a car seat trapping a child in a burning car. Not remotely risky enough to justify the risk of not doing it. Not vaccinating is pretty obviously child abuse.
