Maybe I'm overly suspicious but I get the sneaking feeling that the Democrats are trying to lay the groundwork for President Biden resigning for "health reasons" after the 2022 midterms if the Democrats take too heavy of losses and Biden's poll numbers continue to be too weak. Sure they get Harris as the first woman president and no one really wants that but she can appoint a highly regarded "elder statesman" type as her VP
I hope not cause if she quits then Pelosi becomes president. And I would rather shove broken shards of glass up my ass and sit in a tub full of tobasco sauce rather than see Pelosi as president.
Pelosi is very unlikely to be Speaker of the House after the 2022 midterms and the new Congress is sworn in. And at any rate if Harris becomes president she would appoint a new Vice President just as Nixon appointed Ford after Agnew resigned
Biden took paxlovid and had a rebound. It is a well-known side effect. Fauci experienced the same thing (and me too, when I had covid in May and took paxlovid). There is no conspiracy here. In any case, as a recommendation: If anyone gets covid, try to get a paxlovid prescription. It works great, almost like an antibiotic works against bacterial infection. The beneficial effect is almost immediate. For me, my 102 degree fever was gone the next day, and I was almost symptom-free the second day after taking it.
Pelosi as Speaker of the House can not become President unless she rises to the position of Vice President first. And that can only happen if Kamala Harris becomes President for whatever reason and she appoints Pelosi as Vice President. The whole third in line for the presidency thing means if both the President and Vice President are killed or incapacitated at the same time then the Speaker becomes President.
Actually I think there is a plot by Republicans. If the Republicans can get rid of the president, vice president and speaker the presidency would go to Chuck Grassley (R) of Iowa who is President pro tem of the Senate.
Not vaxxed and COVID was a minor cold for me both times I've had it. Don't need anything else for it, barely need time off other than to prevent spread.
