    Anyone check this out?

it really is interesting. It documents when industry in America figured out that making higher quality products that last forever, is a bad business model.

This explains how and why we got to this model of cheap foriegn imports that last 1/10 as long as products did just 20 years ago.

Yeah, I did, and I heard about it being mentioned in passing prior to seeing it. Overall, I find it hard to prove since I am not intimate with the manufacturing process. Theoretically, however, it works well with the concept of manufactured demand. It's all in the air, though. To me, I don't know how long my computer is supposed to last, therefor if it started to break in 4 or 5 years, I would think it was natural.

    The Search for Rodriguez

The search for Sixto Rodriguez, song writer and musician, who is more popular than Elvis in South Africa and no one in the US knows him even though he lived in the US all of his life...

Having never really looked into the world wars until recently there were a number of things that were'nt adding up for me. Actually the Nazi religion thread here got me started, from that research i could see we'd been feed some serious propaganda and many things while having some basis totally blown out of proportion. Then i had to look at why he hated Jews which lead me to start into WW1 and of course Russian revolution. Ive done the banking thing before so it was interesting to a see a world leader coming straight out and saying it in quotes id found. But anyway i came across this doco/movie 2hours and 20min well spent, it put much of the research id done and more into a very entertaining and eye opening package. Id been feeling ill wondering if we're the bad guys with my own research, this doco didnt help that feeling at all.

Although it has nothing to do with Ron Paul, this doc examines what our world would be like if the USA were to depart the international political scene...a popular selling point to many Americans who love the old Texas doctor turned Congressman, presidential candidate and father of Congressional filibusterer, Rand Paul.

The name of this very interesting 2008 documentary featuring Niall Ferguson as well as interviews with many, many others, is The World Without US.

It's becoming more prevalent knowledge in these days the great defamation behind the motivations for WW2. In short, America and Europe traditionally held anti-Semite views, and Hitler as well as Mussolini were both admired by both Europe and America. There were attempts by big business and some others to reform America to fascism as a more efficient method of operation. And I'm not talking about country bumpkins either, I'm talking about big money and government officials. Hitler was, in fact, inspired by America himself. His social ideas were based on the American model.

I saw more than 2/3 of it. It was fabulous, although painful to watch how many Russians died fighting on the Allied side. Especially difficult was the 18 & 19 year old girls who flew fighter planes against German planes, ships and land targets, many of them losing their young lives. In aerial combat, your plane being hit meant ONE thing >> death. Their heroism was riveting though. Many of today's teenagers and young people could take a hell of a lesson from them. :salute:

Interesting article, thankyou. I was aware of the German eugenics wasnt dissimilar to others in the West at the time. It was touched on in the below lecture, but that link gives more detail than i was aware of.
