I love the documentaries about the different Naval ships on Netflix. Also enjoy the "Vietnam in Color" documentaries as well as "WW2 in color". I did enjoy the McDonalds and Chipotle short documentaries as well. "Surviving the cut" :)

The single most surreal non-fiction film I have ever seen.

The back story and the level of bravery it took the film maker to make this film is astounding.

There are a lot of great documentaries on youtube about UFO's, aliens and time travel as well. I've probably seen every one lol.

I don't buy the whole planet x thing tho.

Vivian Maier is now considered to be one of the finest street photographers of the 20th century. For example, every photography taken by her, in one single afternoon, on one short 15 image roll of film can be worth up to €5,000 each. Yet not one of her 150,000 photographs was viewed by anyone one, other than herself, until 2007. Her humble story is truly fascinating.

The Great Martian War. I am not entirely sure that its accurate but its scary. We were a hairs width away from being wiped out.

"The Secret"…. that I saw on Netflix is exceptional……. and has the potential to tranform politics in North America if it is applied…….

Misery Loves Comedy is sort of a documentary about comedians and their craft, but probably not what the OP is asking for.

Did anybody see Valley Uprising on Discovery a few weeks ago? I know nothing about climbing, but it was one of the best documentaries I've seen in a long time. Some of these guys climb 2,000ft + walls with no safety ropes

The Real Rocky, Chuck Wepner -- the real-life inspiration for the movie. At times funny, at times sad, it was an entertaining combination of The Sopranos and Raging Bull. Wepner knocked Ali down when he fought him, although many think it wasn't legit.

    The pervert's guide to ideology - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2152198/

    Dirty Wars - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2532528/

    Fed Up - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2381335/

These are the best I have watched recently. They are all fun and thought provoking.

the law of attraction; seems like one of those glorified pep talks / make money seminars, but it seems to work out for a lot of people. for some its too difficult to just ignore the negative.

An excellent documentary, done by PBS but available on Netflix, is Muscle Shoals. Great music and great story for those into music during the 70s and 80s.
