Trump routinely says things that arent true. Few Americans believe him, according to a new Washington Post Fact Checker poll.

For months, President Trump has claimed that U.S. Steel has announced plans to build more than six new plants. Throughout the midterm election, he repeatedly said that Democrats had signed onto an open borders bill. And he has long charged that millions of fraudulent votes were cast in the 2016 election.

None of these claims are true. Whats more, most Americans dont believe them, a Washington Post Fact Checker survey finds.

His pathological lying is a major issue (IMHO) as it goes to the credibility of the man. If a leader has no cred........ how can anyone respect him or trust him.

All politicians play freely with the facts and truth......... and shades of truth........... but in this case.......it is of serious pathological proportions. This pathology is also part of a larger pathology. It also goes to ethics and how someone with a personality disorder can negatively affect things.: the folks he works with, the decisions he makes ....etc. Not even sure he realizes he is lying.. It is second nature to him. Lying is part of his psyche. If the polls are accurate.......... then it will be the people that influence the changes needed. for a more credible administration.

Absolutely not, but somehow he is still representing the most sane set of ideas.

What does anyone else support other than NPC type pejoratives?

    Let me guess?

    Russia did it?

    Let the immigrants go?

    Single payer health care?

    Higher taxes on millionaires?

But what else? What else do you have for the people to vote for besides calling Trump some evil guy? And let us remind you, the economy has been on an absolute TARE since Trump was elected. People try to deny it, but even Obama is trying to take credit for it. Like it or not, We the People believe he is better for the economy than anything the Democrats have put up.

So, what are you putting up?

    That Cortez girl?

If that's it, you can expect Trump to win in a land slide .... But I am serious, what are Democrats representing?

So .......his lack of integrity is not as important as the economy?? (etc) Don't think it is a partisan issue......... as there are republicans who have strong values, integrity and don't have to lie about everything. If the character of the person at the helm is not important........ than values have changed & deteriorated more than one realizes .And then there is the role of Role model......to the young and other nations. There are some things one cannot buy........ and decency, ethics, standards a re some of them. Of what value is a good economy if a nation has lost its principles/?

It's been a kleptocracy for a hundred years, it will always be this way, the only way to stop it is by limiting the powers of government and devolving control back to local communities.

Trump is many things. He's brash, he's boastful, he's dishonest, but he's not a felon.

"but in this case..." it's a Republican doing it. And that's what upsets you most. Be honest.

Yeah, because the economy is doing about what it did in 2014.

Worse still, we bought the economic activity by running ever larger deficits at a time when we should be cutting back. It's like thinking you're doing well because you bought a new car and tv on credit.

And how about workers? Real wages have gone down since Trump too office.

    Reality.
They're not great, either. But you and your pals are drinking Trump Kool-Aid.

Sad fact is that there are members of his tribe that think that his policies trump his lyin' cheatin' crooked ways.

Moral turpitude is not longer relevant and there is no collusion.

Nobody respects or believes trump, even his worshippers. They know what a defective character he is, but being crippled inside themselves, they suck willingly at his teat and don't care how much he lies as long as he fulfils their hate-mongering dreams.
Notice how no one wants to work as his chief of staff.

Line up all the idiots in your state and pick ten at random. I guarantee the policy produced by these 10 idiots would be preferable to that produced by the corporate-bureaucratic elite currently.

If one sets prejudice aside and looks into what Clintons character and actions are, Trump is a choir boy by comparison. The difference is that Hillary is expert at a skill most lawyer have to some extent, and that is how to be dishonest legally, or do illegal things in a way that you can't be legally prosecuted. While Trump is up-front and making little pretense, Hillary is a master of conning the people into believing she actually has character.

When you really look at Clinton's true character, you should be glad Trump won.
It's always a choice of evils they say, and I think that is true. But it's nice to know what the weaknesses in a person are, instead of them being hidden and used behind your back by a con artist to sell you out.

If you think Trump has a bad personality, read this (any many similar) documentations from people in the secret service, who were around Hillary first hand when there was no public view:

    https://nypost.com/2015/10/02/secret-service-agents-hillary-is-a-nightmare-to-work-with/

    First line-
“Good morning, ma’am,” a member of the uniformed Secret Service once greeted Hillary Clinton. “F— off,” she replied.
    That is the REAL Hillary.
